Today we're reviewing part number CAM55522 from Camco. This is their PowerGrip 90-Degree Locking Marine-style Power Cord Adaptor. It's 30 Amp to 30 Amp and it's 18 inches long. It allows you to connect the female end 30 Amp to the male end 30 Amp. The female end is at your boat or your RV and the male end is at your 30 amp power source. All you do is. Here's your 90 degree angle and you connect this female end to your RV or boat, to the power source there and then you turn the threaded locking ring here.
Then once that's tightened down then the connection is weatherproof. You have a built-in handle here which makes it easy to pull the plug out when you're ready to disconnect. You actually are supposed to use the handle rather than pulling at the plug. At the other end, the male end, you also have a handle for that. The male end plugs into the opposite 30 Amp power source.

Item purchased to convert a maritime 30 amp 20 foot power cord to fit a standard 5th wheel 30 amp power box system. Item is heavy duty with good handle grip. Managed to make cord adapter suit my needs. Before ordering, make sure the female and male ends will accept the standard male plug and lock twist style found on most RV trailers and park power boxes.
Took awhile to figure out what connector was needed on my new TT, along with a 30amp to 15 amp. adaptor, this did the trick. Well made and perfect fit.
Contacted CS to figure out what I needed to make an extension work as a primary cord. As has been my experience they knew exactly what I needed as I have a marine type setup to standard RV 30 amp plug. Thanks to Chris R, I'm back in business!

Just received the adapter and haven't had a chance to use it yet. But I've wanted one of these for a long time now as the 50 amp plug sticks straight out from the receptacle. Always thought this was a dumb design as it puts a lot of stress on the plug and cord. The prices are starting to look more attractive so I decided to bite the bullet and get one.

I ordered the Camco 50 Amp extension cord along with a slide awning. The awning is to be shipped in several weeks and the extension was to be delivered at the same time. I asked Angela at E Trailer if the cord could be shipped sooner on a different order. She arranged for the cord to be shipped on a separate order and it was shipped that same day. This 45 degree 50 amp pigtail will save your shore power connection. It reduces undue strain on your outlet by sending the weight of the cable down instead of out. Both ends are screw in to maintain watertight integrity. eTrailer.com has the best price out there!

This product is answer to my dreams. Have a 37' Pace Arrow which had a 3.5k generator which was only capable of running one a cat a time. Generator died and I quickly found out generator repair people are rarer than Amish electricians. Bought a 7k generator and was arranging to pay an electrician to wire it in to rv when I discoveees this incredible connection. It twists in to 120/240 outlet on generator and accepts 4 prong rv cord. GREAT!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Turned on both ac's for first time since I owned rv, (over 10 yrs). Within mins rv was cool and I have enough power for another rv. This thing is great. I highly recommend to anyone with an rv with a small generator or generator in need of repair, go buy a 7k running amp generator and this plug and you're set with plenty of electrical power. Also, the quality and durability of this part is suprisingly amazing. You can easily run over this plug with your rv and not phase it. BUY ONE. This will be the best rv purchase you can make. There was much confusion in obtaining this item which ended up what I wanted. The description stated it was a 50 amp connector but the picture of the plug showed a 30 amp plug. I talked/texted 2 different people at your shop and one indicated it was 30 amp and the other said it was 50 amp. By that time it had been shipped and fortunately for me it was as advertised, a 50 amp connector.

The elbow connector is doing it’s job. Much easier to connect to the side of our travel trailer than the straight cord connection that came with it. Extends the original cord by 2 feet and relieves the stress on the connection on the side of the trailer. Working well

This trailer plug is what everyone needs if you have 50 amp camper plug and if you go to a camping site that has 30 amp service with this plug you can get 45 amps of service. so I can run both my AC units at the same time. Very well made. Heavy Duty. Thank you E-Trailer!!!

I got this to take the stress off the connections from the hose diameter 50 amp cord. It appears to be very heavy duty and it's nice to have the cord drop straight down instead of sticking straight out and then curving down.
