Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Demco Straight Safety Cables. Safety cables are designed to offer extra security for your towing system. They provide the backup connection between your towed vehicle and your trailer or your towed vehicle and your RV for flat tow applications. The cables are made from a nice durable braided steel construction and they have a really nice vinyl coating on them to keep them from scratching your towing set up. So they won't scratch or damage anything they come into contact with. With this part number you get two cables and each cable has the hook on each end.
Then each hook has this spring loaded safety latch to prevent accidental disconnecting. Each cable measures 64 inches long and we're looking at a capacity of 14,000 pounds. And that's going to do it for today's look at the Demco Straight Safety Cables.

One year follow up -
These cables have about 3000 miles on them towing since purchase. They work as described. Units have shrink fit ends where they attach to the hook.
