Ideal for Part-Time RVers

When you're taking your RV on the road for weeks at a time, you'll want to make sure your toilet can handle that long a journey. This toilet is built for part-time RVers who use their RV more frequently than just on the weekends. It's just as tall as a standard residential toilet, so it's easy to sit down on and get up from. The ceramic bowl is more durable and easier to clean than a plastic bowl. And the lid closes slowly, so it won't loudly slam against the rim. This toilet provides the durability and ease of use needed for your long RV adventures.

Measure to Fit

RV toilet rough in measurement

There's one measurement you should double check to see if this toilet will easily fit into your bathroom. The rough-in measurement is the minimum distance you'll need from the wall to the center of the flange on which the toilet will sit. To measure this distance without uninstalling your current toilet, the mounting bolts on the side will typically tell you where the center of the flange is. You may want to triple check if your toilet has an offset flange or 4-bolt mounting style.

The Dometic 310 Series RV toilet has a rough-in measurement of 10". If your rough-in measurement is less than 10", select a toilet model with a lower requirement or consider alterations to make it fit. Keep in mind the overall dimensions of the toilet, and measure for yourself to pick the best model for an easy DIY upgrade.

by:

This toilet is so much studier than the cheaply made 300 series one that came in my 2019 Springdale travel trailer that leak between seals and smelled

by:

Replaced the original plastic low profile Dometic 300 toilet in my travel trailer with a ceramic model 310. The 310 is much sturdier and a better height.
I have purchased several items from E-Trailer for both my truck and travel trailer and am very satisfied with everything I have received along with the great service they provide.

by:

The lid doesn't stay up when you let the toilet seat down, sometimes the lid comes down very quickly, the flushing valve is on the opposite side of the toilet instead of the original toilets side and that very cheap ass plastic cover that goes around the base of the toilet, thats a cheap/bad looking setup.....IT WORKS but I was in a, need to have situation or I'd sent it back !!! I've been a customer for a long time and like etrailer but this toilet with the flush valve and more importantly, the cheap looking plastic cover that goes around the base of the toilet!!!

by:

The product looks amazing. I haven't actually tried it yet, but the installation went seamlessly. E-trailer has been my go to place for trailer parts.

by:

This is an in-kind replacement in a pre-owned camper; the old one had a crack in the bowl. Fitment was no issue since it replaces the same model toilet. Works great, although the bowl seal may need some adjustment; after a three week-long trip it doesn't seal.

by:

My Dometic 310 arrived with some small cracks on the lid hinge cover. I took a few photos and wrote an email to etrailer explaining the situation. Within two days I received a reply telling me a replacement will be mailed asap. I received the new lid in about a week. Very easy and the folks at etrailer.com were very helpful in the process. A great place for trailer parts. Will shop there again!

by:

Installation was very simple. Haven’t used the toilet yet, but it appears to be a huge upgrade over the plastic unit that came with the trailer.

Comments
After one year I absolutely love this product. The best upgrade I’ve ever made to any of my campers.

by:

I ordered this to replace my leaking Dometic 300 toilet. The shipping time was excellent, it arrived sooner then expected and the packaging was perfect. Installation was a breeze, less than 30 minutes, don't overthink things. I like the idea of a ceramic one piece bowl, no more stinky bathroom from a leaking Dometic 300. I highly recommend this upgrade, well worth the cost.

by:

No more creaking crushed water bottle cheapo
plastic
toilet. Exact replacement of cheap Dometic toilet.
Tip- index 2 flange studs with tape on floor to align /install.

910 stars Easy to install, a real toilet- not a flimsy squeaky plastic OEM unit
Phil - 08/14/2022

by:

Fantastic upgrade for the cheap Dometic 300 that came in the travel trailer, easy to install and Etrailer has been great to work with.

by:

Haven't used it enough to give it 5 stars, but it's a huge step above the low profile, hand flush, plastic toilet that came in my trailer. This has a look and feel of a residential toilet with no squatting.
Had to get a SharkBite 90 degree fitting to adapt the water inlet, but that was only $12 and very easy.
The "half press" water fill function is actually only a slight push on the foot lever, but this toilet doesn't leak and fit perfectly.

by:

The toilet I'd good. It mainly does what it's supposed to do. It doesn't hold water in the bowl, like it should and when you push the peddle down slightly to add water to the bowl, it breaks the seal and let's the water escape. Also, shipping was horribly slow.

Comments
I reached out to the manufacturer who did have some advice in regard to the water remaining in the toilet bowl. They advise that when this happens 99 percent of the time the toilet ball seal needs a deep clean or rejuvenated. The first step would be to make sure that the ball valve is secure as it can become displaced if the toilet brush knocks the flush ball valve out of its pivot place .To assure the ball valve is in place compress pedal halfway and grab the ball valve. It should not be able to move, except for forward and backward. If there is play you will need to move the ball valve around until it finds its way back into its pivot hole. To help rejuvenate the seal, it needs to be removed. To remove the ball seal partially compress the foot pedal so the ball valve retracts. Reach in and grab the ball seal and remove. To clean it, take a small brush and clean around the area of the flush ball and ball seal. You can get debristoilet paper and or calcium build up that will keep the flush ball from sealing properly. To replace the ball seal, remember to keep the ball valve closed when reinstalling. Squeeze the seal and push it in place. With the ball seal back in place, pour several cups of very hot water into the toilet and leave it sit. This will help to rejuvenate the seal. Once water cools resume use as normal.

Replaced a old plastic Dometic in a 05 Jayco Escapade. You don't realize how cheap a plastic toilet is till you remove it. This toilet is a big upgrade. Unexpected but showed up the next day! Had everything to install but the plumbing but I had all the PEX from other projects.

by:

This order came a day earlier than expected! The dometic ceramic bowl toilet is great, was a breeze to install. A huge improvement over the all plastic one that came with our RV. So far worth the money.

by:

Excellent service as always. 30 minutes job to change out. Toilet we will be proud to use.

by:

I just got the Dometic 310 installed and have not had an opportunity to try it out under real world conditions. It feels a lot more stable than the 300 model and does not have all of the creaks and groans of the 300 model. It arrived in a timely manner and installed easily. It is installed in a MicroLite 25BRDS.

by:

Arrived earlier than expected. Easy to install and a great product! So relieved to have a replacement for the defective Dometic 300 iPad in my camper.

by:

Perfect replacement for our travel trailer toilet.
Easy installation; I did the complete change out in less than 10 minutes. The low height is just right for my wife. The original one required a small foot stool to feel properly seated.

by:

Great replacement to the cheap Dometic 300 toilet, fit in exact same spot without any modifications. Everything arrived fine and in great shape

by:

Easy install. Much better that the OEM Thetford model.

Comments
No problems. Works fine. Used full time for last 5 months

by:

Only needed 1 simple change to the existing plumbing and it fits perfectly.

by:

This toilet was easy to install and adds value to our travel trailer. I had to
change the water inlet, it was different than the one I removed. Its more comfortable and easier to use than the one I removed, and I love the slow close lid.

by:

I ordered my Domestic 310 as a replacement for my substandard Domestic 300. The folks at etrailer were great! They answered all my questions and my new toilet arrived on time and undamaged. The installation is pretty straightforward and the new toilet works as advertised!

by:

Excellent service and fast delivery. Always good to deal with Etrailer

by:

Toilet was exactly what we were expecting - arrived in a timely manner, was easy to install and is still working great.
