I rewired my light bar for my boat trailer with the items I purchased. Before I built the the light bar, every time I used my boat trailer I would waste valuable sailing or fishing time repairing faulty lights. The do not last long when you submerge them in salt water. This light bar now version 3.0 have given little trouble over the years

Although I was at first apprehensive in placing my first order due to the website not working correctly for a PayPal payment, then not appearing to work for a credit card payment, a call to eTrailer confirmed that my order had been received after all. From that point on, the transaction was fast and flawless. Parts were shipped and received quickly, and were exactly as advertised. The extra length of trailer light wire was much appreciated. I will be a repeat customer.

A year along the eTrailer products are working like new. Great products and service.

This wire exactly what I need to wire my Jeep from front to back so I can have lights from my RV to my kayak rack. It is protected with an outside cover unlike the regular four flat. It is also all copper not copper clad aluminum like many other sellers have. Price is very good.

Mike H.

Still works great. Have had no problem with the wire.

Great trailer wiring! The jacket helps protect the wires and they are easy to separate in order to put on terminals. Too cold here to install but a warm spell is coming this weekend. I'll move the trailer into the garage and have a go.

Bob C.

I install the wiring and it has been going for a year now. Good tough wire.

The wire was not included in my package. But I did get 21 2" tie down straps so if my 21' of wire ever shows up it won't go anywhere.

Thank you for reaching out. I have sent your information along to customer service.

Everything worked as expected. The new lights are great. The trailer connector was easy to install. Very happy with the results

For a great price, you are getting quality. I use trailer lights every day at work. I'm hooking and unhooking multiple times per day with exposure to wind, rain and snow. 4-way wires typically are glued together and so you get less protection from rips and breaks than the jacketed wire here. A lot of trailers come with cheap wiring like that. If you are re-wiring your trailer, do it once with this wire.

I bought wiring and connectors to rewire a 30+ year old utility trailer. All items purchased were of excellent quality and the trailer lights work well. I was especially pleased with the jacketed 4 conductor wiring.

quality wiring and the sheath is very robust providing good protection of the wires inside. If I ever need more I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product again.

getting the job done hassle free

Perfect for replacement trailer wiring on any trailer. The added covering helps keeps wiring sealed and protected. Worked perfect with heat shrink sealed connectors to stop future corrosion of wires.

Worked great to create a 4 wire flat extension cord under a fifth wheel camper for the boat trailer, in conjunction with Quick Fix 4 pole flat car and trailer ends-48195.

Etrailer, is the place to go with their large inventory of towing, trailer and vehicle accessories. Attentive ordering process and quality of products. Very good asset for my farming operation.

It has been over a year since I had rebuilt my trailers using parts purchased at etrailer.
This is the first time that I have been able to put any real miles on the unit and with 800+ miles the lights and everything performed flawlessly. I will not think twice of making additional purchases from etrailer.

Used this wire to install LED brake lights and backup lights on my RV. Works perfect and looks clean.

We bought the multi conductor cable to replace the pendant cord on an motorized cable hoist, that was too short. It was the only product that met our needs, for the application. I has worked out fine since we installed it, great product.

Nice heavy jacketed wire. As with the rest of the order, it arrived in short order.

I ordered a number of products that Im finally incorporating into a major restoration. The wire is nice, especially after hearning the neighbors horror story about cheap imported wire gone bad.

Ordered 12 Ga jacketed two wire (brake wire) and 16 Ga bonded four wire to rewire my 18' tandem axle trailer. Good high quality wire and arrived in very short time due to fast shipping from Highly recommend this company.

It would be difficult , if not impossible, to have a more helpful person facilitating the placing of an order than Paula at etrailer. I swapped out all incandescent light fixtures on my trailer with led, and the buyiing/ selection process was made a pleasure with her help.

Works as installed after 1 year. Outer PVC jacket is very smooth, aiding installation into PVC conduit. I wire all heavy duty trailers with conduit to protect the wires.

All of your products were of very good quality and fit perfectly the first time. Thank you for being genuine. I especially appreciate you selling Dutton Lainson products, as I grew up in Hastings, NE. They are a very good manufacturer.

Love the flat design that facilitates making the connection to the vehicle inside the vehicle that much more convenient. Would be better if the color coding was black, brown, yellow, and green to match the flat four wire that is the standard with most trailer light kits.

We use this wire for multiple applications and works great at a very low cost.

I was a bit disappointed in the wire cable which appeared to be round on your website. I was expecting it to be round so as to go through the various holes and clips on my trailer and it is flat. It'll work fine but will not look quite as sanitary as I had planned.

Very flexible and easy to run through conduit. Used on several different trailers, from boat to dual axle flatbed.

The jacket on the wire is tough but doesn't pull well. Also, the wire colors are for VAC, not conventional trailer wiring colors. Other than those two issues, the wire is fine. Note that the wire is flat, not round.

  • Is There a Hopkins Easy-Pull 4-Pole Extension Available That is 8 Feet Long?
The longest Hopkins Endurance Easy-Pull Harness 4-Pole Flat Extension offered will be the # HM47114. This will be 48 inches long and all the Easy-Pull Harnesses will come with 18 gauge wires for the brown (taillight), green (right turn and brake), and yellow (left turn and brake) wires and then the white (ground) is a 16 gauge wire. This will typically be the standard used with most manufacturers. If you wanted something more heavy duty, you will need assemble one. The Deka Wire - Jacketed...

  • Is There a 4-Pole Female Wiring Connector Like the 3-Pole Bulldog Winch
The Bulldog Winch plug you referenced, part # BDW20178A, is specifically for their winches and we don't have a 4 pole version of it. If you're looking for a 4-pole trailer female connector you can use part # PK11402 which doesn't have the wire leads on it but you can add as much of part # DW03240-1 as you need since it's sold by the foot.

While it is possible this may work, I did contact Hopkins who confirmed this Hopkins Endurance Quick-Fix Replacement 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM48192 is designed for use with 16 or 18-gauge, not the 14-gauge of the Wesbar 4-Pole Flat Connector w/ Jacketed Cable # W787274. • Availability of 18/6 Wire in Rubber Cable
The only 18 gauge wiring we have available is the Deka Bonded 3 Wire # DW02923-1, which is sold by the foot. This 3-wire bonded parallel wire has 16/30 stranding with a maximum voltage of 60V. If you are able to go a bit thicker we do also have the Deka 16/4 Gauge Wire # DW03240-1, which features four 16-gauge wires fully coated in a PVC jacket. This wire is also sold by the foot. I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.

  • Recommended LED Tail Lights For 2017 Alto Safari Camper Trailer
I understand why you want to add additional lights on your camping trailer. I recommend part # STL78RB. This is an oval 6-1/2 inch LED light with the stop, turn, and tail light function. LED lights require much less power than incandescent lights. These are surface mount lights that have an overall measurement of 7-9/16 inches long, 3-5/16 inches wide, and 3/4 inches deep. This is a three-wire light. The wires have the following functions: Red for turn signal and brake, Black is for tail...

  • Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring For Double Towing Camper and Motorcycle Trailer Behind 2016 Tundra
It sounds like you want to tow 2 trailers and need the wiring for both. It is completely possible to do that as long as your truck can handle the total weight of the two loaded trailers. For the wiring, there are a couple of different options. You can run an extremely long harness like you mentioned that will be a simple customized length or you can tap into your trailer wires to create a harness at the back of your camping trailer. My recommendation is to do the latter. To tap...

  • Options for 16 Gauge Wire to Power a 12 Volt Spot Sprayer in Bed of 2012 Ford F-150
We carry different types of 16 gauge wire. We have bonded 4-Wire, # 16-4B-1, jacketed 4 wire, # DW03240-1, bonded 3-Wire, # 16-3B-1, and single wire # 16-1-1. Each of these are available in increments of 1 foot. So if you needed 8 feet you would enter 8 in the quantity box for an 8 foot length of wire. I would over estimate it because it is better to have too much wire than not enough. You also might be interested in some heat shrink tubing # DW05744-10 to keep the splices water tight.

  • Installing Trailer Connector on RV for Towing Trailer
I'm assuming you're wanting to know how to wire your RV to tow a trailer, is that correct? This will depend on which trailer connector your trailer uses. If the trailer uses a simple 4-pole connector like part # 18004, you would install a 4-pole on the RV. If your RV uses a separate bulb behind an amber colored lens for the turn signals, you'll need to use a 4-pole with a converter, like part # C59236. If your RV uses the same bulb for brake lights and turn signals, with a red lens you'd...

I did some checking but could not find an extension cable for Replacement Digital Wall-Mounted Thermostat # AT15029. The wiring would have to be extended the old fashioned way; by splicing in wires. I recommend using jacketed wire # DW03240-1 and butt connectors # 05731-5. The jacket will help protect the wires when you are performing the installation. This wire bundle is sold by the foot so for 20 feet change the quantity to 20.
