This box has been a great storage addition to my trailer. Keeps all tools and equipment at the ready.
First, I like it a lot. There is lots of room inside, it meets my needs and I would buy it again because I think it is a very good value! Cons, Steel latch which means 3 months outside and it is already rusting. (I will eventually replace with a marine grade.) The unit is very strong on the outer sides, but not so much in the middle. I am 200 lbs and can stand on the outer sides of it, but I would not try to do so in the middle. (Note - Manufacturer does NOT recommend standing on it at all and I am not suggesting you do!) Depending on your specific trailer frame and what you intend to put in the tool box you may need to add some bottom support. You can see where I added a support bar in the front. If I was doing this mount over again, I would add a support or 2 in the middle because a couple of spare axle hubs and a bottle jack are causing it to sag significantly.

Tom M - 12/23/2022I use this on my custom teardrop trailer and I really like this tongue box.
One year later, this is holding up well. The only thing is that the lock hinge started to show a little rust almost right away, but it hasn't progressed too much. It was a little disappointing though.
That said, I love that this has a padlock instead of having to use yet-another small key (I already have 3 just for my teardrop). It wasn't something I considered originally but figured out as soon as I put my combo lock on it.
I do really like this tongue box. It was the perfect addition to my teardrop build.
Product does excatly what I want it to do Houses my propane Tanks and Battery with room to spare. Hopfully they won't get stollen again...
Excellent way to store straps and chains. Easy installation.
Phenomenal product, great fit for my job trailer and allows the crew to stand on it if it is necessary to reach the top of the trailer from the front.
As expected - good quality item from etrailer. Only minor wish is that the hasp be stainless - in Wisconsin the constant winter salt-bath makes for quick rusting of anything less. Would buy again & recommend to others.
Thomas - 04/03/2019Great product. I have it installed on the front of a Morris Mule cargo trailer for added capacity. No issues with water infiltration. Sturdy enough to sit on without any deformation. Won't keep a safe cracker from getting your stuff, but nice to be able to lock up some the misc. things I use with my trailer.
This was a perfect addition to my ATV/UTV trailer. Holds tool boxes; ratchet straps; ropes & chains. Lightweight; water proof; lockable. Very pleased with this product.
Our customer is very satisfied with this product. He installed it himself and said it was very easy.

Excellent product to store and transport the safety equipment (jack, lug wrench, wheel chocks, jack dolly wheel, road flares, etc.) on the tongue of my cargo trailer. The plastic construction makes it lightweight and rust resistant, while the design maintains a waterproof storage environment.
Great product! This doesn't fit on a lot of cargo trailers. Fits mostly on landscape style trailers. I told you but they won't!

Jon M - 03/03/2015Used this box to replace the beat up distorted truck box I had mounted on my trailer and happy to say it’s holding up excellent to the same abuse. Aside from it exceeding all my storage needs I also find it to be a much better fit functionally and appearance wise for my trailer.
The toolbox is excellent and works great!!! etrailer is a great company to deal with as I have made previous purchases which were also terrific.
The trailer tongue box did not work on my trailer it interfered with the trailer tongue. The box was too deep
and tall. I had to return the product. The box itself looked to be a good product.
The DeeZee trailer tongue box is a perfect addition to my pontoon boat trailer. We'll made and easy to install.
All of the products were as advertised, Haven't been able to mount the Trailer box, but the construction looks excellent. The lens covers were reasonably priced and I was able to actually find the correct fit on your web page.

Larger than most on the market and at a lower price. Easy to install. Very happy with this toolbox. Keeps the things that used to roll around in the truck bed.
