Specs:
Padded, Rotating Holders
The Destination rack uses rotating frame holders to secure your bikes. The rubber padded holders rotate 360 degrees, and move up and down the center mast independently, to accommodate frames of various shapes and sizes. The holders have padded ratcheting straps to secure your bike by their frame.
Ratcheting Wheel Straps
The wheel holders accommodate bicycles with wheelbases up to 48", and ratcheting wheel straps secure the wheels to the bike trays. The straps are padded and can be adjusted along the tray to ensure a perfect fit.
Folding Design
The rack folds up against the back of your vehicle when it's not in use. To raise the rack, just unscrew the knob and pull it out to lift the rack up. Re-insert the knob and tighten it to the rack.
Easy Installation with Locking Hitch Pin
The Destination rack easily installs in your hitch with the included anti-rattle hitch pin. Just slide the shank into your receiver, insert the hitch pin, and then tighten it down with the included tool. The threaded pin also works as an anti-wobble device to eliminate sway and rattle in the receiver. The rack also includes a hitch lock to secure it to your vehicle and deter theft.
A removable adapter sleeve is included so the rack can be converted for use with 1-1/4" hitch receivers. The sleeve attaches to the shank with 2 screws and can be installed or removed quickly.

The one issue that I have had is that the spring loaded clip on the frame clamp ratcheting strap has broken and no longer provides spring loading and no longer secures the strap in place. Fortunately, I only carry a single bike and am able to use the other frame clamp, but if this one clip fails I am out of business until I am able to get replacement parts.
I did a lot of research and decided I didn’t want to spend $300 or more. This Hollywood Destination bike rack had such high reviews that I decided to make the purchase. I figured I could return it if it didn’t meet my specifications. But I am very happy I have it. It’s so easy to put on and take off of my Outback and the bike is very solid with no swaying when I maneuver Illinois roads. This was a great decision and thank you etrailer for your part in this purchase!
Nice rack great price easy setup
I got my Hollywood bike rack really quick after ordering ! Putting it together and installing on my trailer hitch was a breeze !!! Love the size , I added 2 reflectors on the back, because when it’s folded up, my car is a dark color and bike rack is black. Super easy to use , thank you
this has been a perfect bike rack for me. I needed a hitch added to my prius V. However this bike rack is easy for me to handle and holds 2 hybrid bikes well. I love that I can move the rack down to put items in the trunk or hatchback of my car. This was one of the reasons I go the rack. it was a good buy and I have used it with little complaint there is this hook thinngy you need to move and at first that was problematic and then I used some WD 40. All
is well one year later.
I have ordered fm retailer b4, and was pls with them. So when it was time to look for a bike racket for my son, etrailer was the first place I went to. They had what I was looking for and the price was reasonable!! will continue to use etrailer b4 others.!! Easy to order and shpg was quick and great!!!!
Really nice rack - I use it to to haul either my mountain bike or road bike and sometimes also my wife's or granddaughter's mountain bike if they want to go riding with me. The rack mounts easily on the hitch. It's light enough for one person to manage and takes about 5 minutes to secure it to the hitch with the hardware and another few minutes to load the bikes and secure them with the straps. The rack fittings adjust easily for the different size bikes. The loaded rack is stable when driving (not much movement) and holds the bikes securely. I like that the platform can be easily folded upwards to decrease the chances of it getting damaged in the parking area while we're biking. I've used it one season so far and am very happy with it. The etrailer buying experience was very positive as well.
I noticed someone with this bike rack on their car and asked them where they purchased it and decided to purchase it. It has met my needs thus far and I leave it attached to the hitch on my car. The only thing about this rack is that it does not have a lock for the bikes, but if needed, I use a regular bike lock that I keep on my bike. The rack does have a lock connected to the hitch which is nice. Thus far, I'm enjoying it and am glad that I found it at a reasonable price on etrailer -- especially during the pandemic when it was hard to find.
Just received this (a day early) and installed on my Subaru. Test loaded bikes and I am 100% pleased and impressed with quality weight and design! Price was great too in my opinion.
I've always received good service and equipment from etrailer. Thank you!
Put the rack together quickly. All tools needed were included. Rack is light, yet seems to be durable. The mast is narrow, but will accommodate 2 bikes with a little adjusting. Receiver lock a nice addition.
Overall the bike rack is still functioning for us. I think if it had not been hit by a GMC 3/4 ton truck it would have been perfect. One of our bikes was whipped out. The bike rack was bent but I was able to fix it. Also had to order new straps which made it good as new. We got 2 new bikes so we still are biking. I also should mention we make use of the double hitch size moving it from the 2 1/2 inch (The RV) to the smaller size on the Kia soul that we pull. The Kia was not damage thanks to the bike rack. It is a great buy. Easy to use.
I like it so far. I especially like that I can get my wife's very low step-through bike attached securely to it, which is why I bought it in the first place. And it seems to hold the bikes very securely, and I really haven't noticed any unusual amount of rocking of the bike/s or the rack while I'm driving. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I have already run into a problem with the unusual way of securing the bike frame to the rack. The center support post is so short, it requires strapping the holding device on the post to the diagonal bottom bar on most bikes. When I tried to put my brother's bike on it, that required my brother to remove the bottle holder and air pump that he had mounted to his diagonal bottom bar. It isn't a deal breaker, but it wasn't something I had considered before purchasing it, and it can be a drawback compared to other types of racks.
GREAT two (2) bike rack. Easy on/off of hitch or if leaving on hitch it folds up. Center bar strap and wheel straps secure bikes with no worry of loosening.
Again this was one great purchase.
This is a great rack for the price. Lightweight, easy to use. It does take some manipulating for the frame straps on the upright depending on the type of bike frame that you have. I have 2.8" tires on my Trek Roscoe 8 and you can't go much bigger for tire for this rack. It takes a bit of time to get the rack out of the way to be able to use the hatch on your vehicle ( I have a 2020 Ford Escape). I do wish the straps for the tires were a bit longer to accommodate the larger 2.8" tires on the bike. The hitch lock that came with the bike is nice but a little bit of a pain to use as you can't really tell if it is locked or not despite the indicator on the lock. This rack in the fold up position will interfere with your back up camera and cause the annoying constant beep, in the down position without bikes it doesn't not interfere with the back up camera. It is very easy to install as it only weights 20lbs which is FABULOUS. It takes a little bit of time to put together initially out of the box but not rocket science. i do not keep the rack on the vehicle, only use it when I plan on riding. Storage can be an issue as it does not fold away completely flat but you could easily hang on some S hooks in a garage as it's light enough to lift yourself and store away. The red strap that comes with it could have a better retention feature so the strap doesn't slip. All in all for the price this is definitely a rack I would purchase again. I am glad I went with the platform rack vs. hanging rack. Etrailer's customer service is superb and highly recommend them. I even got asked at a red light where I got the rack as he had not been able to find one without having to pay over $700 for some very well known brands
A well built rack for the money. It doesn’t wiggle at all, and the bikes are super easy to attach. Shipping was super fast! Thank you etrailer.
I wanted a rack that was light enough for me to handle, as well as something that wasn't too expensive. The Hollywood Destination 2 was perfect, just what I envisioned. I was able to finish the assembly and install it to my hitch, and love how easy it is to attach the bike(s) I was very impressed with the design, and feel secure with the bike(s) on the back. It's made well, smartly designed, and I highly recommend this rack.
Great bike rack. I've been using it for a year with zero complaints. It's very light and easy to put on and off the car. The zip-tie-esque straps make it a cinch to strap the bike on securely and take it back off.
Definitely would recommend.
Versatile, durable rack for a low price
Pro's: fits both road and mtn bikes with only one quick adjustment, easy to swap it between 1 1/4 and 2 inch hitches, stable and safe carrying, light weight, low cost, replacement parts available.
Con's: wheel straps can break if bent too far, but replacements are only $xx
As its directions state, if you are carrying two bikes at freeway speed, it is made safer by using the included ratchet tie down strap
Excellent. The rack is everything I could expect. It is relatively light weight, easy to mount and secure the bikes. I highly recommend the Hollywood destination rack for 2 bikes
I've been using the 2-bike rack for about a year. No complaints whatsoever. This is the best bike carrier I've had, ever. It is easy to mount, light weight to store while not in use, very sturdy. Unfortunately for you, but fortunately for me, this 2-bike rack is going to last for a long time. However, if for some reason I need to buy another one, it will definitely be a Hollywood Rack
Easy to use. Innovative features also. Will have to see how the straps hold up.
Outstanding product! I made the mistake of purchasing a similar style rack from a big box sports store and it was flimsy and my bikes fell off. This is very easy to assemble, the rack is lightweight but amazingly sturdy, and a perfect fit (no spacers required) in my hitch. I really like the way the locking strap devices can be moved for a perfect fit. I have an old Trek MB and my wife has a new drop bar cruiser. I have not been able to find a rack that would work, but these fit perfectly after sliding up the wheel straps. I do not keep my rack on the car due to garage space, so sliding it on and off is a must. This is easily done. Unlike other racks with pins, this has a large bolt that is screwed in to hold the rack to the hitch, and a separate lock. The rack does easily fold if you do keep it on the car so you can get into the hatch. I use the rack with the trailer hitch I also bought from e-trailer. And another plus, this rack was $[XX] less than the big box sports store version.
Rack was fairly easy to assemble. Lightweight and well designed. Easy to place in trailer hitch. Easy to secure bikes to mast and tires to trays using the attached zip style straps. Also easy to unload the bikes for a ride or to store for the next adventure. We have tested it out on a couple of drives including hilly back roads and on the highway. This rack is a great improvement over our old hanging style rack that allowed the bikes to clang and the front tires to twist in the wind. We got this rack because a couple of times our bikes almost came off the old rack. Bikes now hardly budge during transport. I am very pleased with this rack and am attaching a few pics of the rack with our bikes on it to help others who are trying to decide. I don't think you can find a better rack for the price and functionality.
Hey folks just wanted to say I really like this Hollywood bike rack. It’s light weight easy to install and keeps my bikes rather snug. Great rack for a decent price.
Is a good rack for bikes light than others ease to ensambling
