    • Designed for use with a factory tow package
    • Compatible with 5-pole and 6-pole adapters (sold separately)

    • Locate connection points at the rear of your vehicle
    • Plug in connector

  • 90-Day limited warranty

Installation

This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located at the rear of your vehicle, slightly toward the driver's side.

Once installation is complete, the connectors will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket is included to keep the connectors secure.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 7-pole and 4-pole connectors - to help prevent corrosion.

Vehicle Wiring

Note:Refer to the diagram above to determine if this harness will fit your application. The plugs on your vehicle must have 3 terminals on one side and 4 on the other. If your vehicle has 2 terminals on one side and 5 on the other, you will need wiring harness HM11143395 instead.

This item was on back order. Their sales representative called me communicated when it was going to arrive. This item arrived yesterday. I just installed it, works great easy to install.

I received the wrong item initially BUT etrailer was awesome at addressing the issue and quick follow up. Will use them exclusively for future items because of that, good prices and quick delivery.

Toyota

Great product. I don't need my adapter anymore. Wiring harness was a perfect fit for the Toyota OEM plugs.

by:

Really quick shipping and provided me with both 4 pin and 7 pin connections. Better than factory.

by:

The plug-in wiring harness was just like the factory one , that was on my truck. It plugged into the electrical connectors with no problem. I am glad that I found this website and order it.

2006 Toyota Tundra

After damaging my existing 7-way connector on my 2006 Tundra I decided to take on the task of replacing myself. After some reviews I chose the Hopkins 7-way with 4-way connector. Super easy install as it was just plug and go. One needs to make sure of your current wiring especially on the 3 wires (12-v, electric brake, backup). One minor inconvenience was that I had to drill out the holes in the bracket which connects to the bumper. Not a big deal. Excellent product and look and the added 4-way is a nice bonus. Will definitely recommend the product and etrailer.

I had some damage to my original trailer wiring on my truck, I worked on it for hours trying to repair the damaged wiring, working overhead crimping wires cutting back damage etc. and still not fixing the problem,
This unit I was done in 20 minutes, and it works perfect.

2006 Toyota Tundra

This is a perfect replacement for the stock Toyota 2006 Tundra, it is higher quality than the original, and at a fraction of Toyota's price. Replacing the old part was trivial. Etrailer's service was exceptional: it was shipped within hours, I received tracking information promptly, and the shipping cost was very modest.

by:

Great product and fit!!! Needed to drill new holes for mounting bracket, but easy enough to do. After that was done, everything went perfect. Simple plug in connection on truck if you have factory towing package. I had done in about 30 mins.

Great service, quick shipping, plugged right in like OEM, the pictures on the site helped me decide it was a match, I used 2 - M6 Rivnuts and screws to mount the harness to my new hitch.

This harness fit perfectly on my Tundra. I have installed 2 units....I broke the first one after off-roading. Only takes about 10 minutes.

Still working great. I am going off-road again and if I tear it off, I will order another to replace it through e-trailer

2006 Toyota Tundra

My original connector was damaged. I was looking for a replacement at a good price - Toyota wants $300 for this part.

I love that etrailer was a good price, but especially like how they have pictures that are different than the stock photos other online retailers use. I was able to see that the bracket was included in this - no need to buy anything else.

The price here was fantastic, not only did it beat [the other online retailers], but it was one of the least expensive around.

After placing my product I was notified quickly that it shipped - and I even got tracking information. My recent purchases online seem to think that extra step isn't necessary - and only give me info if I asked for it.

The product installation was easy. Several reviewers said I'd need to make the holes in the brackets larger. Yes, I needed to. I just got my drill out and used a slightly larger diameter bit to widen the holes. I then used the OEM holes and bolts. It fits well, plugged in just fine. It looks solid and has weather resistant covers for the two plugs. It's also super that both plug types are included - I no longer need that bulky 4->7 wire plug adapter.

Great product, easy installation, great price, perfect shipping! Thank you etrailer!

The trailer harness is working very well. I just used it last month for towing a car home. I like the fact that it’s a single connection and stays closed and out of the weather. I appreciate you following up with me. I’m glad I did business with you.

Yes, I have a o seven tundra. I have a five prong and a two prong. I look up another one thought maybe this would be the part # HM11143395. Could u send me the right one ? And could I return this one as exchange. Do u have a return label so I can send this one back?

2010 Toyota Tundra

Mounted on my 2003 tundra as a direct replacement for the original receptacle. plugs snap in to the harness as good as they would be expected. The bracket has drill holes in the correct place, just needed to be drilled out to fit the oem bolts. It comes with smaller screws to replace the bolt hardware, if your threads are stripped out. took me 30 minutes to install, I reused the old plastic snap on pieces. If I didn't you could do the job in 10 minutes.

great product, although we havent towed a trailer the connector has withstood winter snow by staying in one piece.

This is absolutely a great product at a fair price. In fact, it is better than the OEM in that it has the 4 - wire adapter on the side, so no need to carry the plug in adapter when pulling a smaller trailer without brakes. Installed in minutes with the factory connectors. Been using it for a year now and happy with it.

Comments
The harness has worked very well for me! Happy to say I dont have to worry about it... was very well made and performs its job without any trouble. Thanks for marketing a fine product.

2006 Toyota Tundra

My 2006 Tundra’s factory harness kicked the bucket so this seemed like a great alternative. Installation was the exact reverse of removal of the OEM harness. I did have to drill out the mounting holes a bit to match the original bolts on the truck, but that only took a couple minutes. The separate 4-pin is very convenient and keeps me from needing an adapter. It’s not quite the factory look, but still very neat and clean (maybe it’s just because the rest of the truck isn’t as new and shiny anymore). Overall I’m very happy with the connector!

Comments
Connector is still working perfectly. I trailer about every two weeks and just hit it with some grease now and again to keep the connection clean.

This Hopkins unit is the second I am buying, for a different truck. Like it much better than the competition due to durability of the unit construction and solid electrical connections.

There isn't a replacement housing for the # HM43385 that you have so you'll have to replace the entire thing since yours has been damaged. It's easier than you'd think to break them while backing up for sure since they typically hang down lower than the bumper. For a backup camera you can use the purple wire of this adapter as that carries the reverse light circuit.
