Universal dual lens towing mirror clips over one of your existing side mirrors to give you an extended rear view. A ratcheting strap system creates a snug fit to reduce vibration. Driver's and passenger's side. Tool-free installation.

    • Gives you an expanded view of the road and your trailer
    • Allows you to safely and easily change lanes, back up, pass, and park
  • Adjustable so it fits mirrors of different shapes and sizes
    • Ratcheting system securely tightens heavy-duty rubber straps over a variety of mirrors
    • Mounting arms rotate outward to accommodate different factory mirrors
      • Pivoting joints in the middle of the arms allow further adjustability
    • Sliding clips grab onto the edge of your factory mirror and adjust to fit varying mirror thicknesses
  • Snug fit reduces mirror vibration
  • Manually adjustable mirror face allows you to customize your view
  • Quick-release button on ratchet for easy strap adjustment and fast removal

  • Convex mirror makes reflections appear smaller than with a flat mirror, allowing you to see more
  • Black plastic housing provides a clean look and won't rust or corrode
  • Easy, tool-free installation and removal - no hardware required

Specs:

  • Application: fits most mirrors 4-1/2" to 11-1/2" tall
  • Mirror face dimensions: 7-1/2" wide x 5-1/8" tall
  • Quantity: 2 mirrors
  • 90-Day warranty

These adjustable, universal-fit dual lens towing mirrors expand your field of vision so you can better see your trailer or anything else that is behind you. The ratcheting strap system gives you a snug fit that reduces mirror vibration. Because the mirror arms adjust into several shapes, it can be attached to either the driver's-side or passenger's-side mirror on a variety of vehicles. Each of the mirror's mounting arms is jointed behind the mirror so the arms pivot inward or outward, and 2 additional joints in the middle of each arm add further adjustability so you get the perfect fit.

Built-in clips on the arms will grab the lip between the glass on your factory mirror and the factory housing. These clips are also adjustable to fit the thickness of your mirror housing.

Ksource Universal Towing Mirror Ratchet Diagram

The ratcheting system uses heavy-duty rubber straps to tighten the towing mirror securely over your existing mirror. A quick-release button in the middle of the ratchet lever allows you to unlock the ratchet mechanism for fast strap adjustment or easy removal of the mirror. When you install the towing mirror, use the ratchet lever to tighten the straps. When you have the straps securely on your mirror, close the ratchet covers over the ratchets to lock them in place.

A ball joint behind the mirror allows you to manually adjust the mirror face to different viewing angles. You can also turn the entire mirror face to a horizontal or vertical position - whatever works best for your application. Rubber pads on the straps protect the back of your factory mirror to prevent scratches when this mirror is installed for towing. Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the tight fit means there is no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. You'll be ready to travel in minutes, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress free.

This extension mirror work well for towing our small trailer. It's supposed to fit our 2015 Audi Q5 which was what I entered when ordering. The problem is this mirror housing has an extreme curve and the mirror would slide off without another attachment aid. Before taking on the road the first time I attached a nylon strap with a Fastex buckle (3 ft from REI), tying the mirror arm back to where the mirror connects to the car body, and that did the trick.

Comments
I e used these mirrors for 2 years now, logging about 7 or 8,000 mi. They are very functional, have held up well and are fairly easy to install and remove. The fit issue I discussed in my first review stands: because of the curvebulge in my Audi mirror housing I have to use a strap to pull the mirror back towards the car to keep from sliding off.

2017 Ford Escape

they took a little fiddling to get fitted up correctly on my little Ford Escape, but seem to be well made and go on easily enough without damaging the existing rear view mirror. I have not had them on at highway speeds yet

Comments
The mirrors continue to work well, although one of them seems to be a bit stiff to adjust. At highway speeds they can be a bit bouncy especially that stiff one, but overall still would recommend them.

Thanks for asking for these extension mirrors did not fit my 2020 Honda Ridgeline. Had to secure mirrors with zip ties. Not an ideal fix!! So I have to leave them on all the time even when not towing. I am interested if you have a mirror that will fit. Thank you.

We dont list these as a fit for a 2020 Ridgeline

I am in Canada, finding a mirror system for my 2019 Ford Ranger was not that easy until I tried etrailer.com. They had a number that would work and so I tried this as it seemed to be the best fit for me. Even with the difference in the Canadian dollar, I spent much less than anything I could find locally. Paula, the representative who worked with me was incredible. I will be back due to service, selection and price.

Comments
This mirror was very useful as I pulled a trailer with my Ranger. Being able to see clearly is so important for so many reasons. With this mirror, you can really see what is going on around you.

2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee

This is my second pair of towing mirrors. The first ones were the twentysomething dollars and a big disappointing. I was spending over five minutes to arrange them just to start driving and have them move and be almost useless. These are fitting so much better on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee! The attachment system is ferm and with a better grip on the mirror, the entire assembly is suddenly part of the car and the best thing is that you can adjust the two mirrors without moving the entire thing. When in the right position, you can see a lot more in the mirror so you can confidently move your trailer. Very satisfied with this product, fits very well despite being universal.

Comments
After one year of using these I am more than satisfied with this purchase. Every time the set up is fast and the mirrors are staying in the right place making them perfect right away. I am towing a wider travel trailer and these are providing the visibility I need.
Razvan C - 06/10/2021

by:

Too small to be very useful. Poor field of vision, even with the two piece lens. Had difficulty keeping them securely on my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Make sure you check them periodically. Passenger side lens vibrated so much it was difficult to use. A real pain having to manually adjust them, but hey for the price I guess they are OK. Would have given higher rating if they stayed on better.

Finally gave up and bought “Clearview” OEM replacement towing mirrors, which fully integrate with my vehicle. Bigger, adjustable, safer.

by:

When I ordered these mirrors they were back ordered. I was pleasantly surprised when George sent me a couple of emails explaining the delay and offering me alternative solutions in case I was in a rush. What great service!!! Then, I got my mirrors and they installed easily. I am very pleased with these folks and their product. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat! Thank you very much etrailer.com

by:

I have owned several sets of generic tow mirrors in the past, to date these are best. After installing them I was a bit concerned that they may slip off or at least loosen up while traveling due to the contour of my SUV's mirrors so I added a couple of zip ties to help hold the attachment straps parallel alignment, easy and cost effective addition even if it is unnecessary. Mirror stayed secured over 2K mile trip! I recommend these mirrors for anyone who is unable to locate vehicle specific tow mirrors.

2020 Nissan Frontier

I use these mirrors on my 2020 Nissan Frontier to tow a small 17' Casita travel trailer. After a year, I've now towed more than 5000 miles using the mirrors, and I like them. The Nissan's original mirrors offer fine visibility for changing lanes, but don't give me any visibility to what is behind the trailer. These mirrors fill that gap. They're stable and I'm never concerned about them coming loose. The biggest disadvantage is that they're a bit of a pain to install and adjust. Once you get your visibility adjusted so you're happy with it, you'll want to leave them in place as long as possible. Once you remove the mirrors from the vehicle, you'll have to start all over with the adjustment process. This isn't difficult, but it takes some time. (I recommend marking them as "driver's side" and "passenger side" so at least you're starting with something close to what you had before.) On the road, the biggest annoyance is a blurry image caused by vibration, which I don't experience in the factory mirrors. This is isn't ideal, but it's manageable. I had originally wanted to buy a different single-lens model instead of this dual-lens model, but it was out of stock. I almost never use the second (outboard) lens and it's small enough to not really be useful given the vibration I experience. Given the choice, I'd trade away the 2nd lens for a larger single lens. Overall, it's a good value and is probably the best solution you'll find for the Frontier, given that Nissan doesn't offer any factory towing mirrors.

by:
2019 Ford Ranger

The mirrors provide good visibility around the trailer on my 2019 Ford Ranger. Due to the curved, sloping shape of the plastic frame of the truck mirrors the extensions occasionally slip and need repositioning and retightening.

by:

They don't really work for me and my trailer as my normal mirrors work great and I have a backup camera.....they would work for others but not me. I wish I could give them back as I don't know what to do with them

by:

These K-Source universal towing mirrors are great for the most part. The biggest problem is that they put a lot of pressure on the mirror housing to keep them attached to my mirrors, and I am noticing that my mirrors are starting to distort a little.

by:

Should work fine once I figure out the strap attachments. Placing one on the mirror it looks likeit should work well.

Comments
These were supposed yo be universal and the dimensions looked as though it should have been able to fit but they did not work out well for our 2004 Volvo XC70.
Vernon J - 08/27/2022

by:

Bought these as a gift for my son, a new RV owner.the guaranteed fit is close but not perfect. My son was very surprised at the extra vibration in these extended mirrors.

by:

Easy to install and use. low vibration but as with any extension, high winds can fold your mirrors in. No big deal

by:

The inside mirror on the passenger side covers the wide angle mirror when adjusted for the driver. Other than that they work great.

by:

This product worked very well for us. We only used it for one trip pulling a rented trailer (about 10days total). It took a little time to adjust straps and to get the mirrors installed securely, but they worked perfectly for us — even travelling for 1500+ miles at freeway speeds.

by:

Not bad. Easy to install. Only critique is the straps could be a smidgen longer. My mirror straps max out and there is a tiny bit of wiggle to them, which causes vibration on the towing mirror glass. Use them on a Dodge Durango.

by:

I purchased these mirrors just about a year ago to help make towing our new camper safer. I’ve been nothing but satisfied with them. They go on & off easily (once I got used to how the clips worked) and hold solidly. The mirrors adjust to give the driver good visibility if their desired viewpoint. They are sturdy & have held up well with multiple uses (taking them on/off for each trip). Once they are on, I almost forget these they are not part of the truck. I would highly recommend them!

by:
2011 Nissan Frontier

The clip-on mirrors work as described. I put mine on a 2011 Nissan Frontier and they are very secure and very helpful. Easy to install. I was originally only going to put them on when towing, but I just leave them on all the time (the truck is garaged and I'm not too worried about theft). I think they would be easy to remove regularly and put on when needed.

by:

I've tried multiple mirror styles on the Ford Explorer and these are the best. They stay on the mirrors which are curved and do a great job while towing the camper. The view is excellent and the quality outstanding. Highly recommend these. Other mirrors actually fell off on the highway as the small tabs that slide into the vehicle mirror housings are made of white metal and as you put pressure on them they crack.
The ratchet style connectors make this a perfect device for these curved mirrors on the car.

Comments
One year later and they are working great! We have taken many trips and so far they are the best.

2013 Jeep Wrangler

Pictures will show how we ended up attaching them to the Wrangler Unlimited mirrors. It took some trial and error but this seemed to work out the best. Mirrors performed well during recent trip, not like factory tow mirrors, but did the job. The test will be to see longevity of rubber straps

by:

These tow mirrors worked great for my first time out with our travel trailer. They were easy to install and adjust before heading down the road. Once on the road, the mirrors do shake some, but I figured they would based on other reviews. It's not terrible, and you can still see what's behind and beside you. I would actually give these 4.5 stars because of the shaking. And it's really only the larger mirror of the two. The outer mirror is pretty stable. All in all, I like this product and would recommend them to anyone looking for nice tow mirrors that work well and are easy to install.

by:

Excellent service and great product. Works much better than the other universal product which we had purchased elsewhere. These mirrors allow my husband to see the whole side and up to the end of our camper when travelling and making lane changes. We feel much safer and confident travelling on busy highways.

by:

Once you get the feel of putting it on, they are solid. I have driven 80 mph with them on! They are a bit of pain to adjust and the having three mirrors on each side is confusing at first. I pull an 8 1/2 wide trailer and this was a must to have. Won't pull that trailer without them.
