Will was super helpful in tracking down the correct grease seals for my old Coleman camper. It was great to be able to talk to a live body and get real time advice. Products arrived promptly. Score another win for eTrailer.

by:

Perfect replacement for my trailer. etrailer is only place I buy trailer related parts from. Always excellent service. Fastest shipping in the industry.

by:

Matched OEM perfectly

by:

First time ordering from etrailer and my experience could not have been better!! Thank you!!

by:

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Was able to get me what I needed expeditiously and professionally. Parts arrived in a couple of days

by:

The connection (wire to taillight) for this trailer light kit is extremely flimsy and clearly not intended for external mounting. I ended up reordering submersible tail lights to get a more rugged connection. The wiring harness is fine and the tail lights work but the connection is flimsy.

It's very inexpensive but a few dollars more for a more rugged set of lights is probably a better buy.

by:

Its grease that works well. Notes from etrailer indicate you need one of these per wheel for filling fresh from the factory. I only needed one per axle (½ per wheel) . Looks like I have a lifetime supply of wheel grease :)

by:

Haven’t had a chance to use the grease but it was recommended by a Rv mobile tech I know. The 5 star review is for eTrailer’s customer support. I ordered two tubes and one of them arrived with the top crushed. They sent a follow up email the day after it arrived wanting to know if I received the package and was pleased. In my reply I explained what happened and sent a pic asking if they could help. Within a week I had a new tube of grease at no cost to me! Sure don’t find customer service like that too often these days. Thanks eTrailer….you guys rock!

by:

You have great products except for the bearing packer- which didn’t work!

Shawnee is an excellent service rep! She was very courteous and knowledgeable! Thank you for all your help! .

by:

Just repacked bearings with new seals on my 4' x 8' folding utility trailer. Customer service was great in helping me with selecting the right parts including cotter pins. All is good now. I have been ordering from etrailer for 10 + years. Great place with great people!

good product, no issues

by:

Performs as expected

by:

Good Day. So I,m not quite sure what happened to my grease. The shipping box is in perfect condition, however the contents are destroyed. All 4 tubes of grease are damaged, and not useable. Again the shipping box is perfect. Kinda weird. I really need this grease to service my trailer, I had planned pre trip maintenance for today. So I guess you can see that really messes up my schedule, asI have to take the trailer out of storage, and take it to my shop for servicing. Very time consuming. Please help ! Thanks.

I will have our customer service team reach out to you.

by:

Would have been easier for my project if it were in a tub instead of a tube for a grease gun.

by:

Works as it should.

by:

the product is a high heat grease good for heavy duty use it has a 500 degree rating i plan on doing some long distance traveling with a fully loaded cargo trailer i think it should provide good bearing lubrication for a 1,500 mile trip

by:

I have put over 4,000 miles on my 7,000 lb travel trailer since I replaced the bearings and lubricated them with Lubrimatic LMX grease purchased from etrailer.com.

The bearings have performed without any issues. I have since done a minor re-tightening of the bearing castle nuts. Of the 4 wheels, only one needed re-tightening.

I recommend this product without hesitation!

by:

I just received and used the Lubrimatic LMX grease, so I can only comment that it looks like a high quality product. I did want to comment that I was using it to pack 4 Dexter 3500lbs EZ-lube spindles/bearings, and 14oz was barely adequate. I was short a couple pumps of the grease gun. So my advice is to figure on 3 spindles per tube, or maybe to be more precise: number of spindles you can do = 4 x #LMXtubes - 1. You may need some extra for maintenance in any case.

by:

was just what I expected. Now along with the Bearing Buddies I can keep the bearings on my trailer greased.

All is great with red grease and bearing buddies

by:

Quality product and excellent value.

by:

fast shipping. just wish the grease had some packing to keep the cap on. received it and the cap had come off, resulting in grease all over my other items. wasn't too bad but it could have really made a mess.

by:

All parts arrived quickly and fit perfect! I bought a used car trailer few months ago and brakes quit working. Pulled drums and needed new magnets, it was missing spring on one side, prior owner must have got some bad service. E-Trialer hooked me up with all the parts, also ordered hub seals and grease and repacked bearings. Thank you !!!

by:

Grease came quickly and in time for a bearing job swap. The tube I ordered had a small ding which didn't allow me to use my grease gun but Carol and the team at eTrailer took care of me and sent out a different tube quick. Crisis adverted. Thank you much! The grease itself is of high quality and I wouldn't use anything different.

by:

Picked up a few tubes of Red LMX grease for my EZ Lube hubs on my camper. They were recommended by etrailer as a good grease for wheel bearings. I have used Lubrimatic grease over the years and had good luck with it. The red color will make it easy to see when the old grease is flushed out.

by:

product was shipped with trailer brakes and one of the tubes busted and went everywhere in the shipping box

  • Best Wheel Bearing Grease for a Trailer
The highest quality grease we carry for wheel bearing is the LMX red grease like the part # L11390 that you referenced. LMX Red is heavy-duty, premium grease for the toughest lubricating jobs on the biggest, heaviest equipment. It performs better under higher pressures and temperatures than standard multi-purpose grease, and it resists water better. Because it resists water and sticks in place well, this grease will work on external parts that are exposed to the weather. It provides premium...

To lubricate your Reese SC Weight Distribution (WD) system I highly recommend the Lubrimatic Biobased LMX Red Grease. This is an excellent grease that does a great job at resisting water and the elements. It is available in a 14-oz Cartridge # L11390. According to Reese you need to lubricate the ball mount sockets, hitch ball, and spring bar trunnions. The trunnions should be lubricated daily and when in use. You need to lubricate the upper and lower trunnion pivot pins and contact area...

  • Red Grease Recommendation in Hub Drums
Red grease is the king honestly. I can't find where you found on our site to say otherwise for disc brakes but you'll be fine with it in your trailer hub. The LMX red grease # L11390 you referenced is a good choice for extremes of temperature or for cases where there is high wear in the bearings/hubs.

  • Why Is My Dexter 12 Axle Hub Running Hot
There are many reasons why one of your hubs is running hotter than the other. We usually recommend that you work on both hubs at the same time when you are trouble shooting, this way you know that the same work was done on both hubs. I would change the oil in the right hub, since you changed the oil in the left hub. I would replace the bearings in the hub you did not service, but take a close look at the bearings to make sure there are no deformities/abnormalities. If after doing this and...

  • Troubleshooting Hub Overheating on Tandem Axle Boat Trailer
A bad tire would not cause your hub to overheat, and if the tire was that bad you would have felt it while towing or it would have failed already. However, if you have older tires it would be worth inspecting them to make sure you don't end up with additional problems. It sounds like your hub was checked for most of the common issues that would cause overheating. One of the most common causes is the castle nut being overtightened but I don't think that is the issue especially after seeing...

  • How Many Pumps of Grease Should be Put in an Axle
Keep pumping grease into the fittings until you start to see a little grease seeping through the outer bearing. This means that you have packed as much grease as will fit into your spindle. Be sure to check that the grease isn't coming out the back of the axle though because that means you have a bad seal.

It is an eco-friendly grease that is super-adhesive, water-resistant, and works well for high-temperature and high-pressure situations. I have attached additional information and videos for you to check out.

  • How Hot is Too Hot for Trailer Hubs
That sounds within the normal range. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Hubs are known to get hot. Especially ones as high capacity as you have. A lot of time hubs are between 150 and 160 and we tell people not to really worry unless it over 200.

  • Is Red Grease Good for Boat Trailer Hubs
Red grease is considered to be the most heavy duty and waterproof grease out there so we recommend it highly for boat trailers. My honest recommendation would be to continue using the red grease like with part # L11390 but if you wanted to remove all of the old grease you don't have to go super crazy. You need to remove all that you can by hand and anything else won't be an issue.

Standard tapered trailer wheel bearings are recommended to be re-packed with fresh bearing grease about every year or every 12,000 miles under normal use. That is an excellent question! • What Kind of Maintenance to the Bearing Grease is Needed if the Bearings Never Get Wet?
It is always a good idea to keep your bearings greased. Since you will not be getting them wet, your lubricant may last longer. But you will want to re-lubricate the bearings annually so that they are not operating metal on metal, which will cause them to go bad very quickly. So yes, it is a good idea to grease your bearing occasionally anyway.

  • What is Normal Temperature Rating for Trailer Hubs
Yes, the temperatures you mentioned are normal. If you were getting over 200 degrees that would be a bad sign. But typically if all of the hubs are the same temperature you're good and it's only really an issue if one of the hubs is hotter than others.
