Custom-fit camper tie-downs permanently mount to your truck's body to distribute the weight of your camper and limit movement in all directions. Low-profile attachment points are discrete and rear anchors remove for a clean look.
Features:
The HappiJac Direct-to-Frame design ensures proper distribution of your camper's weight and helps prevent your camper from moving in all directions for a safe and secure ride. The front tie-down brackets attach to your truck's crossmember, between the bed and the cab. The rear tie-downs attach to the 2 corners of your rear bumper. Already, this sets them apart from stake-pocket-mounted tie-downs, which secure the entire load of your camper to the tops of your bed rails, forming a top-heavy setup that can create an uncomfortable and unnatural ride.
Holding the camper taut at the 4 corners - as opposed to along the sides of your bed, like you'd find with other tie-down systems - helps to reduce any front-to-back shifting of your camper during travel.
When you're not hauling your camper, you don't have to worry about bulky brackets sticking out of your truck, creating an eyesore or hazard. The front anchor plates remain permanently installed between your cab and truck bed, leaving only the discrete anchor points visible.
The rear tie-downs attach to the corners of your rear bumper. And with a quick quarter-turn, each rear anchor removes from the bracket to create a clean look.
HappiJac components are constructed of sturdy steel for a reliable and stable ride. The powder coated front brackets and chrome-plated rear anchors both resist rust and corrosion.

Just make sure that you tighten the locking nut because I didn't the first time and they vibrated loose! Tightened them and they never came loose after that.
The tie down system for your rear bumper is horrible. They were corroded within 6 month.
Kit came early, installing it this weekend thanks to Brian for the prompt response on the emails
Delivered on time
Instructions could have been much better ie; video available, as it took too much time trying to figure out the install.
Once installed appears to function very well
This was fairly easy to install. There was just a bit of bending and tweaking and drilling, but I seem to recall that being caused by some abnormalities on my truck's frame. It's one year later- with the camper on my truck the whole time, and I haven't thought a moment about these things since I installed them.
