Michael: Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the replacement magnetic door sensor for your Kwikee electric RV steps. These are going to work for your 24 and 32 series RV steps so that these will mount onto the door and the doorframe. The wire will then connect to your steps and allow you to control those steps. Again, basically, this is going to work for any of your applications where you want the circuit to be open when they are apart.
And then when they come within each other's magnetic field, it will close the circuit. They do have 3M adhesive tape on the back. So it should be very easy to get these installed on your door and doorframe. They are overall right about one and a quarter of an inch wide, both of them. And the wire here, when I measured it, it was right about 16 and a half inches, total length, so should give you enough length to get connected to your current wire that you have installed.This is made here in the USA.
So you can trust that it's made to the high quality standards for products that are made here in the USA. And it does come with a one-year warranty. So if you we're to have any problems within that first year, you could give us a call. We'd help you out with that. But I think this is going to be a great option for you.
If your magnetic, your magnets, aren't quite holding up anymore, or you're having problems with your steps, this is going to be the product to fix it. It's a Kwikee product. So you can trust it's going to work for you. You're not going to make any sort of modifications or anything like that. So, if you're needing a new magnetic switch, this is going to be the product for you.

This magnet sensor only worked for about two days then quit working , I was going to send it back, I would have liked an exchange for on that was going to work longer.

I ordered a magnet for the power steps on my RV. When I initially submitted the order, I forgot to put down the billing address for my credit card, which is different from my mailing address. etrailer promptly informed me that my order could not be completed and gave me a number to call to get the situation straightened out. Great works perfect easy to install instead on screwing it on I use a good double side tape makes for ease of installation and don't have to hope the holes are the same just add tape and stick in place.
