This is going to replace the gear of the motor table assembly for your Kwikee Series 24 and 25 RV Steps. This gear will help to push the steps out and pull them back in. And this is a Kwikee product, so you can trust that it is going to work with your steps. You're not going to have to worry about fit issues or anything like that.Just to give you a little extra reassurance, I can show you the dimensions here, looking just over eight inches, probably eight and a quarter of an inch in total width there.
And then as far as our height, I'm going to call it right about five and five eights of an inch.It is made here in the USA. So you can trust that it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US and like I said, it is a Kwikee product, so will work with your Kwikee Series 24 and 25 Electric RV Steps. Replaces the gear of the motor table assembly for your Kwikee powered RV entry steps. Gear helps to push the steps out and pull them back in. Fits step series 24 and 25.Very close to original part. Had to trim the tab at the extend end of rack to allow the steps to go all the way out. Not a big problem, a hack saw an two minutes, it was gone. Perfect fit during assembly and now the steps work like new.

Easy to put in. 4 bolts to drop the mounting plate. Plan on ordering a motor assy too. If this gear is stripped, so is the gear on the motor itself. Both the parts go in quickly. Drop the mounting plate (4 bolts, 1 fastener, and a plug) Grease and install the parts, then put it back. Less than an hour including breaks for coffee.
I’m so thankful etrailer Carries this part. Lippert and Kwikee site did not have this gear plate for purchase. Repaired my series 25 step and now it’s good as new. The 9 tooth pinion gear can be purchase through [store] and is less than $xx.

The part came quickly and was exactly as described.
Fit perfect. Needed to replace bolt that is used to attach stair arm to gear. Also there were nylon supports that this gear rides on you should replace while your at it. Install it was easy if you remove whole assembly. Only has four bolts hold it to stair assembly. Makes much easier to do this gear and motor.
New Lippert Gear Plate for Kwikee Triple Step arrived. It would have only taken me 30-45 minutes to replace but new part did not come with replacement washers. The old washers and “C” clip are what keeps the gear tight so it doesn’t wallow. The old plate teeth were worn almost smooth because of worn spacer (washers) wallowing. My new installed gear plate works like a new step, no stuttering, no skipping, just smooth quiet in and out movement. Thanks guys for your help and quick delivery, got to my house faster than I got home.

The steps on my 2016 Fleetwood Storm Class A motor home were not working properly. I realized their were a couple of gears worn. I replaced it with this replacement gear, and it worked perfectly.
Part was just what was needed

The product is what I ordered and the people I spoke to were very helpful. I would have liked some instructions or referred to a video that would have given me a heads up that the entire step operating system needed to be removed to replace the gear only.
The gear was an exact fit. It was easy to install and works great.
Perfect replacement for the original gear plate. The only issue I have is the price. Almost $200 for this product is robbery.

The step gear worked great as a replacement to the original. The original had striped teeth the last inch and was not retracting the steps without a horrible sound and I was afraid it would harm the teeth on the motor gear. The replacement gear went in without problems in about 1/2 hour.

I don’t think you want me to review this order as I paid additional money for expedited delivery yet the package was delivered 2 days after the promised date. This delay caused us to have to make an additional 4 hour trip for the repairs we ordered the product for.

Exactly what I needed and easy to replace. Saved me from having to replace the entire step unit. It would be nice if they also sold the pinion gear that goes with this. AM Equipment has them for $9.00 if anyone needs one. When you strip the drive gear, you also ruin the pinion gear. No need to replace the whole motor for $137.00 just to get a new $9 pinion gear.
Exact replacement, easy to replace. Needed to replace pinion gear on motor, found at AM Equipment for $9.00. Installed and stairs work great, no noise or rattle.
