  I do have a solution for you, however since we do not carry any Carefree products your best option is replace both arms with the: -Solera Universal Awning Support Arms for RVs # LC434727. These awning arms will work with Dometic, Carefree, or Solera awnings, require 69" of unobstructed space from the awning rail straight down, and require 2-1/2" minimum of clearance needed between awning rail and top of entry door.

  The kit # LC434717 that you referenced won't work with your power Carefree awning but if your awning is a Spirit, Fiesta, Simplicity, Traveler, or Eclipse and you have room for 69" awning arms you can use the kit # LC434727 to replace your current setup.   We do carry replacements for the Carefree brand. From what I have found, yours has 67" long arms on your 2017 Coleman 3015bh. The ones we offer are designed by Solera and are universal. They match the design of your current arms however; are 69" long arms and come in a set. We do not offer a single 67" universal awning arm for the Carefree brand. They come in black with Item # LC434727 or white with Item # LC434728.

  If you used shorter arms then you wouldn't be able to extend your awning out completely. We actually have the Solera Universal Awning Support Arms for RVs # LC434727 which are 69" long and if you are only needing only arm you can use part # LC281154 instead. I don't recommend using 2 different length arms for your awning.
