  I contacted Roadmaster and they were able to confirm that the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit for the 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, part # RM-523193-5, measures 15-3/4 inches from the ground to the center of the arms. You'll want to measure your hitch height on the RV. If the difference in height between your Equinox and the RV is more than 3 inches, you will need to use a high low adapter.   I've seen quite a few baseplate installs and can confirm that no matter the brand there are some that sit a bit more crooked than you'd think. In the attached stock photo of part # RM-523193-5 below, where you can see that the arms are angled a bit outwards.
