I am giving these items 3? Because I was offered alternative products that did not fit together. Originally, I intended to purchase a roof rack cargo basket type and a spare tire holder from Yakima manufacturer that go well together, but one of them wasn’t in stock. So, after 3 weeks waiting time, I was offered alternative items via etrailer website, and I accepted them…after all, they are the experts. I got the recommended items through UPS, then I assembled them by myself. The roof rack cargo basket fit well on my car, but the spare tire holder was not compatible with the roof rack cargo basket. They couldn’t be assembled together. I submitted my claim to return the spare tire holder. Now, I have not achieved my goal to carry my spare tire. Understanding the needs and expectations of your customers is critical to maximize customer satisfaction. I am sure both products are good, but they are not compatible together, even though they were manufactured by the same company. Distributors should know better! I returned one item and I hope to be refunded.
Jenny N - 10/19/2021It was a breeze to install on my 2018 Ford Explorer. Two reasons why I bought this. #1 the price for the size of the rack #2 The ability to adjust the universal mounting brackets from front to back or length wise. I had tried another brand rack but the mounting brackets were from side to side and did not line up with my fixed cross bars. I used silicone to seal all the connection points. I have not seen any rust as of yet. I like it so much that I might sell this one locally and upgrade to next size up.I've had compliments on the appearance also. with the plus up sized tires and the rack. It has given the Explorer a sportier look. I definitely would recommend this rack to anyone.

Great product. Easily puts together and I was able to install on our 2016 Toyota Highlander OEM roof rails with no problems. The mounting brackets slide to make for a easy fit. Have taken it on two long road trips with zero issues last summer one to the montains and one to the beach. Was able to fit our jogging stroller on in the basket. Had some heavy rain on one trip and seen no signs of water getting into the rails as that was a concern of mine when researching the different racks. The high sides allowed for easy tie downs for the weather bag we put the stroller in. Seemed to add a little road noise with nothing in it but that is to be expected when hauling things on the roof but the wind deflector seemed to keep the noise down. Easy to put on and off with a single person able to lift it. Great product, great fit for the car. Plan on using it for some more upcoming trips.
My review... photos are of the Rhino-Rack 47" basket (RMCB) holding the RightLine 15 cu ft cargo bag (100S20). The photos show our 2018 Honda CR-V with dealer-installed side rails and cross bars, after our first 12-hour drive.
After dealer installed side rails, I realized they were not functional; that is, no places for ropes (who knew?! I was new to the whole roof storage world). So I had to have them add two cross bars. The cross bars cannot be adjusted, thus the Rhino-Rack 47" with its flexible mounting range made it perfect. After driving in rain, the inside of the Rightline bag was completely dry!
Only thing in assembly: there were 4 large rubber washers that I did not know what to do with.
2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek with Thule Aeroblade. The basket itself came in two pieces out of the box. The images on the manual on how to assemble the basket from two pieces into one could have been clearer, mainly how to install the four rubber pieces.
The overall quality of the basket is 5 stars but I am rating this with 4 stars for one main reason. The basket does not include some type of lock to prevent a thief from stealing your roof basket. You would have to cautious where you park and leave your car and roof basket for a long time (ie. overnight parking). However, this shouldn't be a deal-breaker since there are lots of ways you can do to secure the roof basket to stop thieves. I just wish the lock/protection came with the basket.
Wow! The "Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Cargo Basket" is a fantastic addition to my 2013 Scion xB. It is a product that was carefully designed and manufactured with quality materials to last for the life of the owner's vehicle. Instructions for the installation, care and maintenance are clear and concise. Mounting the basket to my
"Rhino-Rack 2500 RS232B - 2 Bar Aluminum System", that also included 4 locks for securing the bars to my vehicle.
I am very impressed with and satisfied with my eTrailer purchases.

Note:
The mounting hardware is pretty long. Because my stock 4runner cross bars are thinner, the mounting hardware had the potential to come into contact with my paint on my roof. I solved this problem my using my dremel to shave about 1/4" off the bolts and about the same from the underside bracket. It wasn't ideal, but I made it work. I suspect because of the design of my stock roof rack, I would have had the same trouble with any product I purchased.

Solid and sturdy. Scratch proof and corrosion proof. Easy to install. Sharp looking. Holding up well. This is my 2nd purchase of same model (have same, but larger, version on a trailer.
DC - 09/12/2018Quick Shipping, easy to put together. Installed on our 2014 Jetta Sportswagen TDI with panoramic sunroof. There is not enough clearance to open sunroof when installed. I am going to look at modifying bottom part of bracket.
Overall, love the look and style for the Sportswagen.
The Rhino-Rack is a great roof rack! It was easy to install and is just the right size, not too bulky...not too small. Took it down the road and not a bit of wind noise could be heard. And, it looks great on the vehicle!
Quality made, lightweight, and durable cargo basket. Perfect fit for the 2019 4Runner. Fits directly on factory roof cross bars. Low profile. No noticeable noise under 50 MPH. Easy to assemble and install.
This is very well built and fits on our Crosstrek very well. I did go to a plastic shop and have a custom made wind deflector, to reduce noise.

Put the Rhino Rack on a 2017 Jeep Renegade.
The cargo basket assembly was easy. Also installed RockyMounts Ouray rails to mount the rack on.
Looks great. As with most roof accessories, there is some wind noise.
Really like the Rhino rack construction and durability.
This Rhino Rack is awesome. Rugged, well built, durable after one year of use and easy to assemble and install. The heavy gauge steel is rigid and stays rigid. The powder coating is resilient and rust free, and the stainless steel mounting hardware is rust free and keeps the cargo carrier secure to your cross bars. No problems as of yet. Best bang for your buck as compared to other manufacturers with similar products.
Phillip - 06/06/2021Great rack. Easy to assemble and install. Mine is the one that attaches to the door frame. No issues with scratching the paint or any movement. I’ve used this on many camping trips and the extra space has been great! Really like the look of it on the CRV too.

I ordered a Rhino Rack basket and Vortex Aero cross bars to go on my new 2016 Jeep Renegade. The order came fast and the products look great, although I haven't installed it yet and won't until this weekend. But come on, it's Rhino Rack so it has to be good!
I've ordered from eTrailer.com in the past for our GMC Terrain (Curtis rooftop basket, KarPak Car Top Carrier bag, A Draw-Tite Class III 2" ball mount with a 2" ball, Class 3 & 4 Hitch Lock locking pin and a Cargo Bag with straps) and I'm thoroughly satisfied with the delivery time and the quality of the products they sell. I'll continue to do business with them and always recommend them to my friends and family.

Bill J - 07/27/2018Some wind noise is expected with any roof mounted rack or accessory. Since you did get the aero bars, and this basket includes an integrated farring those are usually our typical recommendations that we make for our customers. The other thing you might check would be to make sure that if there are any plastic strips on the top and BOTTOM of your aero bars that those are in place as well. Sometimes there is some open space under the roof rack bars and that can be causing some wind noise.
-- Rachael H - 7/27/2018The replacement strips that you would need for the underside of your Rhino Rack Aero crossbars is part # RRM641. These are different than the strips that are used on the top of the bar since they have measuring increments on them. Please note this part is sold as a quantity of 1 so you would need to order 4 for a complete set for your roof rack. I hope this information helps you out, and you get rid of the wind noise on your roof rack, and basket.

Arrived quickly, solid frame and easy to install. Highly recommend!
Received product on time-great tracking system. Took about 1 hour to assemble and install on my AUDI Q5 using the OE rack and cross bars. One word of advise - don't lose the Allen wrench that comes with the kit - standard wrench's don't work.
