Failed 18 months after purchase, only comes with a 1 year warranty. The landing gear jammed up, it will no longer go up or down. I have greased the fittings but under ANY load they do not work.

Only received one of the two items that I ordered the item that I ordered will not fix the problem still waiting for landing gear so I can remove my fifth wheel from my truck.

Ordered this from etrailer instead of other sites as I knew the shipping would be faster. Sure enough I got the item in 4 days on Thursday and Installed it on Sunday. Very quick and easy. Took longer to get all my tools and set up items together than the actual work. The item was a exact fit with installation being feeding the legs through the holes in the floor down from the inside and installing the 4 clamping bolts to hold them in, the gear box on the lead leg and the cross bar and motor. Now it purrs like a kitten when activated instead of clanking and creaking and blowing fuses. Actual install time was probably 1.5 hours taking my time and injecting extra grease into the gears and lead screw. These replacement units have a grease fitting for both which is great and should allow them to last forever! Being a safety freak I used a 3 ton jack with a 4X6 placed long ways to catch the I beams under the trailer then placed 3 ton car jacks under the frame also and for extra safety backed my truck bed under the tongue for extra security while I worked. The price was crazy great, the fit was excellent and the shipping was fast as usual. less money in parts and 2 hours of work probably easily saved me a grand over taking it to a RV repair shop! Thanks etrailer. Saved me again!

Well it happened while out enjoying the AZ mints. My landing gear quit working. Returned home in time, to rebuild my landing gear. I got on line, checked etrailer.com, they had the landing gear that fits 90% of all 5th wheels. I purchased the set, arrived a day early, all the parts were complete in the box. It was a perfect fit, so easy to install. I greased all the gears, even the crank box gears, painted the cross bar.

Support was great at telling me exactly what I needed for my model of 5th wheel. Product arrived in a couple of days. The landing gear kit came with all parts necessary and fit perfectly.

The landing gear has worked flawlessly for a year. The only recommendation I have is that the zerk fitting be moved down an inch or so. They are useless because the square tube that goes between the two to activate the slave side is in the way. I had to remove the zerks so they wouldnt rub. Not a deal breaker. The Jacks are great and well built.

The jacks are of excellent quality. They arrived on time and in good shape. I was a little disappointed that the square drive shaft was unpainted, but that is not a deal breaker. A can of spray paint will take care of that.

DO NOT get thrown by the low price of this unit. The RVLG 8000 works great. I have a 40’ 5th wheel and it was a very simple and direct replacment of the old one. The ordering was very easy and was received within a couple days. The whole replacement only took me (by myself) about 2 hours. This replaced the stock unit which was rated for 5500lbs lift this one is 8000lbs lift which worked much better. This unit also has grease fittings so you can easily keep them lubed. I also took the gear box apart and drilled and taped a grease fitting into it.
Very good product I highly recommend it and etrailer.

My old landing gear stripped out on the drive side. None of the local shops had a replacement. I’m much better off replacing both sides with this kit. Quick delivery, fare price, my landing gear works great again! Thanks etrailer!

The landing gear works as advertised, I replaced a damaged one on my fifth wheel camping trailer. The only issue I had was in the very slow shipping and delivery time. I only live a little over 140 miles from the warehouse and it took over a week for my order to ship. The box was damaged very badly and i was surprised nothing was missing.

I called to order a new landing gear set for my 2004 Cougar by Keystone fifth wheel camper. The old landing gear had stripped the bevel gears, with this new gear set I was able to remove my old gear and install the new landing gear. The install was easy and was done within 30 minutes, I also reinstalled y old motor and it bolted right up to the new gearbox.
My call to etrailer was a great customer service experience and I will be looking into my future purchases from them. I have also already recommended etrailer to my friends for their purchase needs. I give them 5 out of 5 stars!!!

Replaced a pair of Atwood's with these. These were about 3" longer than the Atwood's and weld stops were in different places but I just welded them in. They have nice big feet and are very heavy. Atwood electric motor bolted right in. Overall very happy with the landing gear, as it was cheaper than just the replacement driver leg Atwood that was broke.

Box was torn up but that’s not your falt. I don’t know if there was a packing list. I didn’t have crank handle or pins the bases-(feet)

I think the product is great. Never having put a landing gear on a trailer of this size I wish I would have went with a heavier set. There wasn't any gears on the trailer so I had nothing to go by. This set works, but I would be leary jacking it with a load on it.Empty I think this set will last a long time

Excellent fit,fastest delivery ever. The Rv repair shop wanted $140 an hr plus $405 for their landing gear ... oh plus tow because I couldn't get it hooked to truck....
So I saved over $600 easily, these legs are better quality and less expensive. I had them installed in2 hrs

Although it wasn’t terribly difficult to figure out, we did have a few issues. We had some difficulty getting the legs all the way into the brackets so we could get the bolts back in. The bolts that came with each leg to hook them together with the drive rod did not fit in the holes drilled in the drive rod. The gear was loose in the shipping box and was a bit beat up with paint chipped all over it to the point we wondered if it was used. We were however very pleased with how quickly we got the package. It seems to be working well even though it is much louder than the old one but with a consistent noise.

Better than the OEM jacks. Super price and excellent service with fast delivery. The jacks have 2 grease fittings on each jack. Something the OEM jacks didn’t have.

It is still doing the job. I have changed my useage, I use landing blocks now to limit extension and retraction, I do not run it way up and way down to help when I wash it, I no longer remove my heavy Pull Rite Auto Adjust hitch by leaving it attached to the trailer when I want the hitch out of the truck. I now lubricate the lift threads using a DIY tool that I found online(clear plastic tubing with a pipe fitting and grease zerk inserted in the bottom), I also made sure that I could access the built in grease zerks at the top of each leg and lubricate all of it annually.

I am very happy with the landing gear it works great and was fairly easy to install. I like ordering from etrailer, I always get the right parts and what is on the website matches what I receive.
Two minor complaints though, the packaging was not very good and parts arrived with scratches and a couple deep gouges from banging around during shipping. I realize that most of it is not seen from the outside of the camper but it wouldn't take much to package it a little better. Also mine did not come with any instructions, I did not need them but others might. Other than those minor details all works great and I am happy with my purchase.

The drive shaft was bent significantly. I don't think it could have happened normally during shipping, as it took quite a strong press to straighten it sufficiently. Also, the crossover bar was too short for my Hitchhiker II, so used my old one. Also the gearbox was not compatible with my Venture motor so had to use the old one.

This gear is very slow and even though it says it is rated for 8,000 lbs I would not recommend getting anywhere near that. Installed on a 26' 5er and it struggles to push it up.
I would not buy it again.

This item is geared pretty low to lift the 8,000lb capacity, so unfortunately, it will not really be quick. If you see that your gears are functioning more slowly than usual, it could be a a motor issue. We sell replacements like item # LC142178

Generally, the measurements you need to know are where the jacks mount to the brackets on your trailer. Between the weld stops is 15-1/2 inches and the outer measurement is 17-1/2 inches.
