Speaker 1: Today, we're going to take a look at the replacement lock core and the key for the Spore Graph Explorer and the Tooley Sidekick Cargo Box and it's for a quantity of one. Now, this replacement lock core and key will fit the Tooley Sidekick Roof Mounted Cargo Box, part number TH682, and it will also fit the Spore Graph Explorer Cargo Box part number A90095 comes with one key. You can see the way this opens it. You just put your key in there. Turn it. And it'll unlock it, and then if you turn that, it'll lock it.
So, the top part of your cargo box, in other words, the top part will open up and when you push this down, you just turn that to lock it, and it'll lock the top section of the cargo box to the bottom section.Now, it does come with one key and one lock core. Now, if you do end up losing the key, it is stamped. The number of the key 2806, is also stamped on the lock core. 2806. So, you just use that number.
You can order. We do sell that key separately if you need an extra one. It's part number THAEYN2806.But that should do it for the review on the replacement lock core and key for the Spore Graph Explorer and Tooley Sidekick Cargo Box.

While traveling to New York I left my Cargo Box key back home. I tried to drill the lock and damaged it. Later somebody helped me to open it without key. Thank you for sending two locks. I replaced them. Pics attached

may - 06/04/2017Does not work as a replacement for X-Cargo Sport 20, as advised. The old lock came from both sides (middle in photo) while the new one only comes from one (far left in photo). This makes it so that you cannot lock the new lock since it must be turned parallel to lock, but where it would lock does not allow for it to be turned parallel because it is too wide (far right in the photo). Not a great description, but very frustrating after all the work put in to replace the lock.

This worked on an old Sears cargo roof box. The key was lost and the original replacement part was no longer available so I took a gamble on this fitting and it paid off.
Was purchased as a replacement for a Sears cargo box lock. I called e-trailer and they helped me to choose the right lock for replacement. It fit perfectly.
I bought a sears cargo box and of course after being in storage for years from previous owner there was no keys for lock...instead of ordering replacement key I drilled lock only to find out that lock assembly is no longer available...saw this product as a replacement option and it is very simple and easy to install...and at 10 bucks it is well worth it!

Just recieved the replacement lock and the key. The key works properly in the other lock in my roof top box. the thread on other lock in my rooftop box while being removed(because both old keys were lost) became stripped and had to be replaced. upon receiving the package I replaced the damaged lock and the box is in propre working order.
This replacement core is very heavy duty compared to the original core lock that came on my torpedo tube car top carrier. Replaced it with this product and am entirely pleased.
This is 2nd time ordering from e-trailer, for locks and latches.

I purchased two lock and key sets. They both were easy to install and were delivered quickly compared to many other websites. Wish they were both the same key since I replaced both locks on my cargo carrier. Other then that great product and service.
i purchased this lock for my sears sport 20-s due to another customer saying it worked well for that box. in my experience thats not accurate. it will latch if you shimmy the top but it can be bypassed just as easily in the locked position if you wiggle the lid a little bit. probably better than nothing but not great for the application. im rating 4 stars because it seems to work just fine for what its meant to do but i cant recommend it as a retrofit for sears boxes

Do not order this for the Cargo Box XL from Sears. It will not fit and you will need to cut off the rivets to replace the lock on the cargo box if you did have the right part.
Had this trailer for some time with no way to lock it up found etrailer through a web search they had exactly what I was looking for customer service fast shipping reasonable priced now life is happy again ride safe and get lost thanks again for the great customer service
Perfect fit replacements for my original roof box locks. I found etrailer and got a pair of locks and keys, just like the originals, for less than $10 shipped.
