TracRac Base Rails
The TracRac base rails provide the foundation for this unique, customizable system. No-drill, stake-pocket installation yields securely mounted rails that sit atop your factory side rails. Each rail has 2 tracks for maximum adjustability.
Because the rack section at the front of your truck bed mounts to a different T-track than the one in the rear, the sections can be moved so that they are right next to each other. The result is unobstructed access to your truck bed and improved aerodynamics when you are not using the rack.
TracRac offers accessories that are designed to mount in these tracks. Base rail tie-downs (sold separately) give you additional cargo-management options. These rustproof, aluminum tie-downs slide across the rails for optimal placement and are secured in place with the turn of a knob.
TracRac Slotted Crossbars
The sturdy aluminum crossbars on all TracRac truck racks feature integrated slots for mounting and easily adjusting accessories, such as the included load stops. These slots appear on both the top and bottom of the bars for the ultimate in mounting versatility. Like the pieces that mount in the base rails, these accessories also have quick-release knobs that let you loosen and tighten them with a mere twist of a knob so that they can be positioned as needed along the bars.
A built-in trip strip at the front of each crossbar shields the slots from wind, maintaining the aerodynamic quality of the bars and preventing that annoying whistle you often find with slotted bars.
Included Tie-Downs
Included with your TracRac SR are 8 tie-down accessories. The 4 load stops are designed to mount in the slots of the crossbars and slide along them for quick, easy adjustment. These bookend-style pieces help to hold ladders and lumber in place on the crossbars. They also have built-in loops for securing tie-down straps.
The 4 cleats attach at any of the provided mounting points along the outsides of the upright supports so that you can tie down items that require additional anchoring or that sit in your truck bed.
Sturdy, Rustproof Construction
The TracRac base rails and rack system, as well as most TracRac accessories, are constructed of durable, lightweight aluminum. Because aluminum is lighter than steel - the material most often used for truck racks - only a small percentage of your truck's cargo capacity is taken up by the rack itself, enabling you to pack on more weight than you could with a steel system.
Even though aluminum is already rustproof in itself, TracRac has taken the extra step of adding a dual powder coat finish to further protect your rack. The electrostatic powder coat (e-coat) clings to the metal surface better than traditional paint finishes for a more durable covering. The second coat is a clear finish that adds extra shine and protection from scuffs and scratches.

I did install the Thule TracRac SR. I did it on my own and it went well. I'm really pleased with it.
As for the photo, I will send you one, once I've washed my truck. Can't make a photo with a dirty truck.
I will leave feedback later after some time with the rack.1210230
Perfect for transporting our tandem kayak along with bikes while pulling a travel trailer. I do miss my tonneau cover and wish there was a way to incorporate both1408208

You are in luck, because there are a few inside-bed-rail tonneau covers that fit your truck bed with the TracRac ladder rack. I would look at the Leer Soft Tonneau Cover - Roll Up - Vinyl and Aluminum # LE78VR Leer Soft Tonneau Cover - Roll Up - Vinyl and Aluminum $459.00 which fits the 6-12 bed.
These racks are simple to install and perform as expected. Pros are that they can slide all the way to the cab to get out of the way while not in use. Or can be totally removed if you need to park in a low clearance garage or want to go through the car wash. Cons are they can and will break if you back up against a tree limb or basketball hoop but that’s not really the racks fault now is it. The silver paint will inevitably start to chip off once the cast aluminum starts to oxidize after a few years. Kind of a bummer since otherwise they look nice.1302061

In the instructions, it mentions removing the rack when not in use to keep it looking new longer. Using graphite or a dry lubricant around the locks and turning the locks periodically, so they will not get stuck, is also recommended.

Review from a similar TracRac SR in Ladder Racks
etrailer.com is an outstanding company. I purchased a Thule system in January. Due to logistics (my fault) I tried to install the system in April. Three of the attachment arms were incorrect. I contacted Ashley of etrailer, the sales representative who sold me the system, who patiently listened and after receiving the needed photos and explanation, etrailer sent me a replacement system. The new system was installed and the truck is ready to go. Ashley's professionalism, communication skills, product knowledge were excellent. Ashley and etrailers' commitment to solving my issue expeditiously puts etrailer in a class by itself.1285622
I searched many ladder racks I was unsatisfied till I found this one. It’s beautiful it’s light and it’s versatile. I have a X-short bed Toyota Tundra platinum with a top. With this ladder rack I was able to keep my topper.1380797
Not A bad system. I like that you can adjust the ladder racks spacing on the TracRac rail. The hold down pieces on the side of the racks are very durable. Its a very nice looking system, adds flair to my truck. I haven't pushed in on the 1250 lb carrying limit yet but it handles 500-600lbs without any issues.1450335

The reason we went with Thule, however in order to have the functionality offered of ease to move you will need to compromise the aesthetics of your truck. I did not put them perfectly parallel, since once camping season starts they go on, then come off by October.1481778

Very happy with the rack on my 2018 Silverado. I also have the Back flip hard top bed cover. I am able to open all but the very last position. I might still be able to adjust the rails and to get there but it hasn't been an issue. Used it to haul lumber and I made a bicycle rack that works with the racks and the bed cover down. Works great. Was not hard to install.705960
stand is too tall over truck cab, dose not fit with back flip mx4 truck bed cover this only reflects on my 2014 ram 1500 eco diesel, can only open one panel other then these factors its build is strong. a must to fallow install on the rails as hole paterns are many1376798

I like the product very much, we have 13 truck with the same set up. The square are not in the package and for some reason these are hard to find, please help!!!! The only reason I am giving this a 2 is when you make time to get a truck ready for service something always happens that puts you at a dead halt.1467612

Review from a similar TracRac SR in Ladder Racks
Delighted. Very strong, good looking. The only drawback is that the screws which keep the racks on the tracks can be easily removed and the racks stolen. They should provide screws with security heads. I installed my own... but they began to rust immediately.1353101

Review from a similar TracRac SR in Ladder Racks
Great product! Packaging could be better for the larger pieces (rub marks). My 2018 Ram 1500 quad cab came with some small challenges that I had to solve myself. No videos or written words available. Basically if your bed rails are covered with a bed liner you need to remove the plastic sleeve in the rear stake pockets. Otherwise you won’t get an equal spacing from one rail to the other. You will also need to use the provided rubber tape with the wedges in order to make the rails level. Otherwise it went together great. 706744
Very heavy duty ladder rack that does not "whistle" while you drive down the road. Easy install overall, and it is very easy to install and remove the racks as needed after the original install. At the time of purchase this was not available for my vehicle with a short 5.5' bed, but with very minor fabrication the rails for longer beds fit perfectly. I have recommended this rack to several people since purchased a year ago.894847
The Good: This rack is sturdy and doesn't make a lot of noise. I also like that it's aluminum and I don't have to worry about rust making it look bad or compromising the structural integrity.
The Bad: It doesn't slide very well. It takes two people and even then it is VERY sticky. It makes sense...aluminum doesn't like to slide well. But I think there is room for improvement for some sort of low friction glides in the rack that last long term. Also, where the ladders sit, the aluminum is getting chewed up a bit.
The Ugly: Well...It's not ugly. It actually looks nice. :)
Overall: We also added the cantilever after the fact and that really helps to stabilize longer ladders. While the rack does have a lot of options for tie-downs, they mostly seem to be geared toward ropes or super light duty ratchet straps. We use slightly heavier duty ratchets straps for everything we need them for (1 1/2") and it would be nice to have a better way to hook those up. Not a big deal, just something to improve on.
All in all, this rack is expensive. Understandably so because it's aluminum, but that was a hard pill to swallow. The fact the rack is difficult to slide makes it even harder to swallow...I'm just glad we don't need to slide it that often.1205341
Love the ladder rack. It's great to have the option to take it off. The only thing that would make it better is if they offered this model in black1447051
Yes. In addition to the regular sliding ladder rack # TH43002XT-501 there is also a version with the over-the-cab extension. It is # TH43002XT-501EX and it will fit your 2017 Ford F-150 with 6-1/2 foot bed. view full answer...
With the king cab on your 2017 Nissan Titan, that will ensure you have a 6-1/2 foot bed. The correct fit for this model is the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack - 1,250 lbs # TH43002XT-501 or if you want the cantilever over the cab # TH43002XT-501EX. This will be a perfect fit for your truck. view full answer...
The Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH43002XT-501 is a confirmed fit for a 2022 Ford F-150 with a 6.5' bed. I'm no quite sure exactly what you're saying about the bulkhead though. I do know there's an aftermarket bulkhead rail system that sits inside of the bed and wouldn't interfere with the how this ladder rack mounts since it sits in the stake pockets.

The crossbars of the TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH43002XT-501 have to be much thicker than Thule and Yakima crossbars because of the difference in weight capacities. The Yakima and Thule racks have weight capacities around 165 lbs typically and this rack has a 1,250 lb capacity.

Sounds like you have a bed rail cover that does not have cutouts built into it to allow access to the stake pockets. You would need to remove the bed rail covers to access the stake pockets though. view full answer...
We do not carry the WeatherTech tonneau covers but according to my research this cover installs completely inside the truck bed of your 2016 Ford F-150. You will need to verify this and it is important that the cover is totally inside your truck bed for a ladder rack to be able to work; none of the cover should be in contact with your bed rails and it should also sit below the top of the rails.
If your tonneau meets all of that criteria there is a ladder rack which will fit the 6-1/2 foot... view full answer...
Since the tonneau cover you referenced having on your 2016 Ford F-150 6-1/2 foot bed installs between the bed rails a TracRac SR ladder rack is going to fit as it installs through the stake pockets.
