DARLENE A - 10/16/2020I doubt that anyone will read this but I'll say my 2 cents worth.I was looking for replacement locksets for a car-top box.I literally stumbled on etrailers site.Well,short story is I found my old Karrite box under a new name ,Sportrack.They looked identical,locks looked the same.etrailer listed replacement locks for a great price with reasonable shipping.Then, reading on I found a replacement key for my locks,so I ordered 1 of those as well.So now I have a spare set of locks.All said I'm very pleased with my etrailer experience.

This site is fantastic! What do you do when you have lost or damaged your key beyond repair and like in my situation, you have a rooftop cargo carrier that is locked and you would like to use it and have no key. etrailer to the rescue! All you need is the lock number and brand name and you'll have your replacement key on the way! Yes, way! No locksmith needed, this is good news and good stuff.

I purchased a Sears SV-20 car top carrier (made by Thule) for a move 16 years ago. Worked great only used once and then safely stored in the garage. 16 years later I need to use it and can't locate the keys....what to do?
Well we all know Google is our friend and that brought me to etrailer.com on my phone. So I called them up and I was skeptical about doing it but it all worked out great, did it all over the phone took all of 5 minutes read them the number printed on the lock and a couple days later the keys appeared on my doorstep.
I immediately tried the key. Still not really believing it was going to work, you know it can't be that easy. Right? Turns out it was. Key(s) worked perfect!

The replacement keys I ordered was for a Sears Car Top carrier. Wonderful! I am so grateful for etrailer. We lost our cargo carrier keys and I just assumed we would have to call a locksmith and deal with a big expense to get new copies. But we were able to get custom keys made through etrailer. It was inexpensive and super easy!
Was told by my local last resort locksmith that I would probably have to call Sweden to get a spare key for a Sears rooftop carrier, I went online to find etrailer.com.
