Trailer kit with 2 stud mount tail lights; 2 stud mount amber clearance lights; license plate bracket; wire harness w/4-pole connectorAgain you Guys have made life easy with your video and helpful tips!
Like your shipping packages as well. Compact with little waste of materials.
I used this product as a light system for my motorcycle carrier when I haul my TW200. With the bike on the carrier the vehicle taillights are blocked.
The TL29K light kit was what I used to solve this problem.
Lasted maybe a week and burnt out bulb and barely touched the other and broke. I ended up going with LEDs for a little bit more and a better design for my trailer and works fine.
The light kit was shipped promptly and nicely packaged. Everything looks to be made of very good components. I will be insalling this kit on a mobility scooter carrier and 90% of what I need was included in this kit.
Standard cheap lights . They all worked but the push in wire connections on tail lights will only last one season here in Vermont with salt on winter roads
Looks nice, but no instructions whatsoever. The lights have copper holes in them, that are partially labeled, but some of the labels don't make any sense. And how can you stuff a twisted wire into a hole, it just doesn't work. How many engineers does is take to screw up a simple trailer light set? A pain in the butt, I wish I have never bought them. Will not by these sorts of things on line again, will go to local farm stores.
Used this kit to replace the lighting on a European bike rack to work with US hitch and wiring.
On the plus side it worked perfectly the first time I tested it and with a few cable ties and an additional mending plate, a couple of dollars in Home Depot, it was pretty easy to install.
On the down side, there were no instructions in the box so had to rely on the online video, and pushing the wires into the connection holes on the lights was a lot more tricky than it looked.
Overall I am very pleased with the product.
Easy to install, working great!
Thanks Much, just got in from installing everything I ordered and it
all went on nicely. I rebuilt a 6' X 12' 1999 utility trailer
with treated lumber etc..........plus your parts, looks great. Thanks
again, going to do the same for another utility trailer I have, a
6' X 10, so, I'll be ordering from you later in the summer. Thanks
again
Nice bright lights. I replaced my old trailer lights and wiring with this light kit about 1 year ago and they are still performing great!
TL29BK was easy to order, was delivered in a timely manner, and was a perfect match replacement for my 2010 Singer, Utility trailer. I was very much pleased and will certainly order from etrailer again if replacement parts are needed.
First off--Dealing with etrailer.com was a pleasure. The trailer light kit was just what we needed. Unfortunately our older trailer would not provide as good a ground as that required. The forward clearance lights worked fine but we had to individually ground the rear lights directly to the trailer frame next to the light mounts. Also, one of the rear lights, the one without the license plate light, had debris inside that precluded it lighting appropriately. After completely disassembling it we found wire shavings/cuttings that impeded a solid contact. Fortunately the co-owner of the trailer is an electrician and he had all the solutions. Alone I would have had to hire someone.
The trailer kit I ordered arrived in a timely fashion and the items included are solid nice looking pieces.
I reviewed the video on installation and found the wiring and installation of the lights to be extremely simple. I rewired my entire trailer, replaced the tail lights and added the running lights (did not have these before I ordered the kit) in about two hours. Could have done it faster but I was in no rush.
I would definately recommend the company and products to anyone in need of replacing wiring and/or lights.
very nice set of lites for the price.arrived very fast thank you.
Can't beat the prices and product selection. I was able to get bearings, races and seals to do two hubs for what I would have paid to do one locally. Although the bearing kits were made in China, they appeared to be a better quality bearing than the China bearings I removed from the hubs. No issues with packaging or shipping. Not only can one find parts here but, lots of good info and support as well.
Wiring doesn’t resist corrosion. Red side light booke off by rocks thrown from passing pickup. But for price and ease of installment, I’ll give it an above average.
Good quality products and hardware. My only complaint is the shipping policy... I got my parts in a fair amount of time, but because I didn't elect for one of the more costly shipping options, I saw my "order received" status for days and had no information on a ship date other than a potential 2+ week possible delay. I'll recommend the company and the product with this disclaimer. I appreciate the tutorial videos and the easy web site navigation. Please just get better on the shipping/processing communication.
Quite pleased with etrailer ball hitch accessories which I am using on a spindle wheel motorcycle carrier behind a fifth-wheel trailer.....
Works perfectly. Good quality. Would order again.
I haven't installed the lights yet as I'm waiting to get the trailer sandblasted and painted. But, it's exactly what I needed and I'm sure they're gonna work out just fine. eTrailer has a great lighting selection to choose from including LED's.
Where are the instructions??
I reviewed all of this e-mail, not even a clue on how you connect to tail lights. How to you wire side lights?
This looks like a pending return.
I bought springs, mounts and Tailight kit to fix up a rusty utility trailer. I cut, weld scraped and painted for the better part of a month in spare time. The springs and mounting instructions on e trailer are excellent. Only issue/shortcoming are the tail lights. Wire just pushes in and spring loaded strip holds them. I soldered and sealed the connection with silicone. So far that salt covered roads haven't hurt it in winter. The folks at etrailer are very helpful and prices are a good value.
Trailer hitch and instructions were top notch as was the wiring kit. Would do business again if the need arises.
