Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. Great for your truck's looks: remove the arms from the brackets and you'll hardly know that the brackets are there.
Features:
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Not too difficult to install. Instructions are great. One hole did not exist on my frame so I drilled it and painted it. Excellent product.
Installed on my 2020 F250 Supeduty, they were easy to install. They were missing a few pieces of hardware but etrailer got the parts shipped out the next day. The front driver side plate did take a little puzzle like twisting to get around the brake lines but wasn’t really that difficult. I also purchased the rear tie downs and they are even easier to install. The front and rear took about 3 hours total to install. I only needed to buy a 32mm socket for the suspension bolt.
Perfect fit. Very strong and secure. The leaf spring bolt on my 2017 F350 could only be loosened by a local diesel mechanic. The Ford dealership and corporate repair shops wouldn’t loosen it for me due to their liability concerns. The bolts that you need to feed through with the wire leads are a bit tricky. Be sure you have something like vise grips to clam onto the bolt once it is in place before you remove the wire. You don’t want it to drop back down into the frame. You also need to hold onto the end of the bolt while you hand tighten the nut until the star washer can bite enough to keep it from spinning. Then you can crank it down with your ratchet. All in all, the instructions were very good and complete. I was able to do the installation myself with just the one trip to get the passenger side leaf spring bolt started. I look forward to many years of camping with my unit securely tied down to my truck. Thanks!
I have a 2022 Ford F-250 super can. The frame mount tie downs went on great. You have to loosen leaf spring bolts to install brackets, passenger side bolt is 1 3/16 and drivers side is 1 1/4 so plan ahead. Need 3/4 drive brake bar too. Everything else was easy install. Nice strong mounts. I like them.
After looking at other camper mount options I am glad I went with the TorkLifts. These are absolutely a heavy duty mounting system. They bolted to the frame of my 2020 F-250 Superduty using factory frame holes. Every thing needed came in the box. The install was fairly easy. I installed the front and rear mounts in less than 3 hours. Read all the instructions first before you start. I would recommend these mounts. They are a true frame mounted tie down system. My camper was expensive. I am so glad I did not go cheap on the tie down system.
I haven’t used these with my camper but I think I will be happy with the outcome. The install was more difficult than I hoped. The passenger front mount went on easy. I did buy a long 6 inch bolt to go all the way through the frame. I read afterwards that you can turn the washer 45 degrees to get it though the first hole in the frame. The drivers side was a huge issue. The gas tank on the 2017 super duty is against the frame so it was impossible to get a bolt through without removing the tank. The hole at the bottom was too small and didn’t line up with the top bolt. I could of drilled all the way through the fre but was afraid of puncturing the plastic gas tank. So the simplest fix was to buy a 3/8 drill and tap. I drilled a hole in the frame down low and taped it out and installed a bolt with 3/8 threads. It worked fine but I didn’t really want to drill a hole in the frame of my new truck. If I had it to do over, I would have it professionally installed and gladly paid up to 300 to not have to hassle with it. I included a pic of the bolt I drilled and taped in the frame. It wouldnt be too bad of a job if I knew from the beginning what I needed. If you are not moderately mechanical don’t even try this install yourself. The technical support number was a joke don’t waste your time. I also had to buy a 1 1/4 “wrench and 1 3/8” socket. You gotta hammer it loose with a small sledge. Or you can impact it off with a deep 1 1/4 socket. I just couldn’t find the deep socket I needed at the nearest Lowes.
Great product but drivers side hole F on directions is none existent on the 2023 f250. Not sure if it’s safe to use being that the passenger side has the same issue but they supply an extra bracket that utilizes another factory hole so it’s got more support. Needs to be updated for 2023 models.

We reached out to Torklift and there is currently not a front tie down that will work without having to drill a hole in the frame. I will have our Customer Service team contact you.
This is my second set for the TorkLift tie-downs, and I would not use any other type. We use it daily; our camper never comes off as we are constantly on the move. In the event we have to remove it for vehicle service such as alignment, it is easy to remove and get back on.

These things are doing their job. Just got back from a 3,300 mile trip with nothing but smooth sailing.
I have done business with etrailer several times. The products are always as advertised and never arrive with disappointments. Everything comes in a timely manner and the company communicates well. Right after I received this latest shipment I discovered something else I needed on the truck I had just purchased. So back to etrailer I went and sent another order. Repeat orders lets you know that this is a good company to deal with.
Great customer service, fast shipping, good quality products.
The packages came in yesterday but were missing the locking clamps that hold the slide in bar in place, only on the front order was missing not the backs. I dropped from excellent because of the missing parts.

Oh no! I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you.
Very well designed. Instructions are good. Took me about 3 hours to install front and rear tie downs.
This is not an installation for anyone lacking automotive experience. The instructions could be better in some areas. It helps to leave the bolts off the fish wire until it is in place, and back fishing helps since the hole in the top of the frame is larger than the bolt holes. After an afternoon of cussing and fussing, the finished installation is great, with excellent fit.

The Torklift tie downs work great. Dont forget to wash the mud off of them too at the car wash.
Second truck I have used these on. I would not trust any other Tie-Downs

I am very satisfied with the quality of these. I would highly recommend them!
etrailer's service is 5 Star, as usual. My issue is with Torklift's poor quality in packaging accuracy for attaching the product. The front frame mount's instructions are lacking. The rear receiver mount is missing a split washer. And, for the Derringer hold down, the 8 nuts for the threaded rods are the wrong thread size thus won't go on to the rods.

They do the job that they claim to do, glad I bought them
These are the best tie down system. Getting the spring hanger bolt loose was a bit of a chore but once that was done tie down frame went on quickly. 2017 F350
Takes a bit to fish gthe bolts through but other than that everything lined up and works perfectly. The cover paint flaked a bit during install but definitely a quality product. Thank you etrailer
Love these. I wish there was some cool end caps to go with them.
These fit great and work WAY better than trying to get the sheet metal of your truck bed to hold the camper down. The part that extends out from under the truck comes off with the removal of the clip pin. I store them with the turnbuckles when the camper is not loaded. The part that bolts to the frame is well under the bed and does not cause any problems staying on the truck full time.
etrailer was fast and helpful with this install. Torklift on the other hand was not. They were confused about the installation of these tie downs on my truck. The part number was correct according to the make, model, and year but the photos I showed them of my truck obviously didn’t match the instructions. They just kept saying, it should fit. I made it work. Also the torque spec in my truck was over twice what they said for my leaf spring bolt. xxx ft. lbs. is very different than xxx. I had to have a shop torque them down.
ETrailer has always been a reliable business to work with. They stand by their products and go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction.
