Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. With the arms removed, the brackets are barely noticeable. Made of stainless steel and lightweight, rustproof aluminum.
Features:
Heavy-duty strength in a lightweight package: the TorkLift Talon tie-downs are the premium choice for heavy truck campers and unforgiving climates. Made of military-grade aluminum alloy, the removable arms are rustproof and robust while also being lightweight and easy to handle. The receiver brackets are constructed of rugged stainless steel, and both components are protected by a high-impact powder coat finish that guards against wear and tear.
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity is going to sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush to the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not using them and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. With the arms removed, the brackets are barely noticeable. Made of stainless steel and lightweight, rustproof aluminum. The rear mounts were easy to mount. The only problem the package was missing 4 flat washers. I also just received the Front mounts. They were a little harder to mount by myself. Some advice is to watch the install on [video]. I ended up using a floor Jack to hold the mounts.
Perform as expecred
Excellent product. Easy to install and take down.
About a year ago, I purchased the aluminum Talon Torklift Frame-Mounted Front and Rear Camper Tie-Downs. The install was easy taking the better part of a day including a little help from a local automotive mechanic to loosen and retorque the truck’s leaf spring bolts. The Tie-Downs have worked great since installed with no issues. I highly recommend them.
Thanks for asking Kimberly, I don’t care for them and wish I had bought FastGuns instead. While more money they click in adjusted and ready to go. Each use of the Spring Load XL’s is an ordeal and I’m never really sure they are adjusted correctly. Hope this helps, John
excellent customer service. They helped my husband get the right camper tie downs for our truck camper. Thank you. With a little time he got the tie downs on the truck and they even look nice. I like that we can leave the inserts out when not using the camper. The last tie downs we had stuck outside like steps. Every one was always asking what they were.
This install could not of been any easier! Both fronts with truck on Jack stands and wheels off took :10 min total…
Bought all three together and they have made traveling with my truck pickup camper and motorcycle trailer safe and secure.
The rear tie-downs were a snap to install. I'm happy with the results.

The product fit my 2022 F250 perfectly. I had them installed I an hour and a half. The only thing you might add is that a small impact driver helps to get the nuts to grab and tighten down. Very satisfied.
