All went well except the ground wire was short on the trailer harness, had to splice a piece in.
Manufacture should consider making it another 12-18 inches longer.

The TLL9RK Optronics LED Combination Tail Light Kit fit my old 4 foot by seven foot utility trailer perfectly. The lights are much brighter than the OEM incandescent units. I used crimp connectors instead of those supplied in the kit. I like the plugs that came with the new wiring harness, as they appear to seal much better when the trailer is connected to the tow vehicle. I only wish the kit included a blanking seal for each plug to help keep them clean and dry when not connected, as they spend most of their time unplugged and open to the weather.

Love the lights. I would give them five stars all day long. The wiring harness is a bit chintzy. More like 2.5 stars. It feels like if the manufacturer spent another .02 on it the quality would be better. If you paint your trailer, you need to grind away the paint beneath the ground wire, otherwise they will not work.

It was easy to determine from the catalog what product I needed. The product met expectations- with the exception that the grounding wire was 1-1.5" too short. The problem was solved by adding more wire. Delivery was timely.

They work as advertised. My trailer sees regular use and is stored outside year round in the midwest. I haven't had any issues.

The fenders I ordered were exactly what they said they would be. The dimensions were right on the money. They were solid and sturdy with great craftsmanship and looked great after paint was applied. I also ordered the square light kit and was of good quality.

Easy to install and works very well. I just wish the grounding screws were bolts instead of self tapping screws. They would not work on my trailer frame so I just used some other bolts I had and they worked fine.

The product is exactly what was listed on the website and the quality is great. I looked at Walmart, a local marina and a local part store for trailer lights. These lights I got from etrailer.com are better quality and a better price including shipping. It was delivered faster than expected. I was so pleased, I purchased more product from etrailer the next day.

Bought this product to replace my incandescent lights on my boat trailer with led lights. Price was right. I have not installed them yet but I'm sure they will work fine as with anything I've purchased from etrailer so far.

I installed the Led Lights on my Trailer and they work Great.. The led lights are much brighter then the incandescent lights. I placed my lights on the back of the trailer where they do not get submerged when ping off my 17 FT Boston Whaler.. I do not need the back my trailer in the water all the way.. I usually back the trailer where the water is just below the hub bearing..Will definitely recommend this trailer light kit to anyone looking to replace their lights led lights and wiring.

I purchased this kit to replace the existing setup on my 4' x 8' utility trailer that had served me well for about 15 years. I was having problems with blown fuses when I turned the vehicle headlights on, and then when I used the turn signals as well. It was pretty clear that my problems were coming from the old light fixtures, but I decided to go ahead and replace the whole wiring harness at the same time since the extra expense was nearly insignificant. This kit came with almost everything needed to complete the job. I added some 1/4" corrugated wire wrap to help protect the wires from abrasion, and a few waterproof heat shrink tubes to seal the connections (2 for each light, & 1 for the ground wire). I chose to solder my connections and then seal them with the waterproof heat shrink tubes. There was enough room inside the light fixtures to enclose the connections and keep them out of the weather. The whole process of removing the old lights and wiring, and then installing the new components took about two hours of leisurely work in the back yard. It was an easy process, and the new lights are much brighter and more reliable now. No more blown fuses. They have the added advantage of drawing very few amps as compared to my old incandescent fixtures. I think it was well worth the little extra cash to invest in the LED lights. The kit included a flat 4 wiring harness to connect to the vehicle, which made my neighbor happy when I gave it to him - my truck was already wired for a 4 flat connection. In all, this was the most recent of my 3 or 4 purchases from etrailer.com, and I will certainly be back for more. The prices are good, shipping is fast, and there is wealth of instructional information to consume.

After struggling with corroded connections on the original lights, it's was time to redo them from one end to the other on my utility trailer. This kit did the trick!
Bright lamps! No more faulty contacts or replacing bulbs! Clean wiring throughout!
Tip: Squirt some silicone or RTV in the crimp connectors for a water tight seal.
The only CON is that there weren't really enough stainless wire clips to keep everything right sms tidy. Fortunately, I had some add'l ones. I'll bet if you asked George, he'd send some more!

I installed the Trailer Light Kit this past weekend on my motorcycle/utility trailer.
The good: the lights themselves seem to be of good quality and are quite bright, just what I was looking for as replacements for my existing lights. Also, the wiring seemed fine as well.
The 'bad': The hardware that came with the kit was pretty much useless. It came with some miniscule wire nuts which I found rather odd since the lights in this kit are 'submersible'. I bought some butt connectors- weather proof with heat shrink covers instead from an autoparts store. Also the clips that came with the hardware could only be used on a trailer made with angle metal as they push onto one side of the angle. My trailer is made from square tubing so I had to procure loom cushion clamps that utilize a screw to attach to the tubing. Loom clamps would work on either so I would suggest they be included in the hardware kit.
I would have given the kit a 5 had the hardware been decent as the wiring and lights seem fine.

Great light kit. Very easy to install. LEDS are crazy bright compared to my old trailer lights. Now I can use the boat ramp to unload my kayaks. Instead of dragging them to the water.

- Can LED and Incandescent Trailer Lights both Be Used at Same TimeA trailer can very easily have incandescent and LED lights at the same time. There is no issue mixing the two styles of lights.
