Today we're gonna take a look at the brass transmitters for Tire Minder Tire Pressure Monitoring System. This is for a quantity of two of them. Now, these transmitters are designed to work with the Tire Minder Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems. These will basically replace your valve stem caps on the vehicles that have the rubber and brass or metal valve stems. I happened to pull .. Here's an example.
Here's your rubber and brass style and here's your metal. It'll work on either one of those. These transmitters will transmit tire information back to the Tire Minder monitor and it transmits both tire pressure and tire temperature. The transmitters themselves weigh only a half an ounce so they will not affect tire balance. The part does include everything shown here. It includes the two transmitters, the two replaceable CR1632 batteries and the two locking rings.
And just to give you a dimension on one of the transmitters, diameter of them is about three-quarters of an inch. Overall height is right at about one inch. And I just want to show you . I'm gonna take one of the . Here's your rubber and brass. So how to install these, first what you want to do is unscrew the cap on the transmitter and you'll see that's right where your battery will slide in, right underneath that connector there.
It'll say "positive" on top, "negative" on the bottom. Slide your battery in. Once your battery is installed, go ahead and put your cap back in, tighten it down and then what you want to do is take your valve stem, if it has a cap on it, take the cap off, go ahead and put your locking nut or locking ring all the way down. Take your transmitter, go ahead and screw that onto your valve stem and you want to make sure to put it, snug it up very tight because what happens is, that'll push down on the valve core and that'll be able to read your pressure and your temperature. Once you get it tightened down enough, then just run the lock ring up there, snug it up and then tighten that on so it holds it into place. Simple installation, just like that.
And again, as I mentioned, it'll work on either the rubber and brass or the metal stems. Go ahead and remove it. But that should do it for the review on the brass transmitters for the Tire Minder Tire Pressure Monitoring System for a quantity of two.

Great replacement tire pressure sensors. A little pricey.
I have used tire minder for over 5 years. I have to replace a sensor every now and then
Great product. I had a blow out on my travel trailer on I-90 in South Dakota. The tire minder alerted me that I had a blow out and saved me from additional expense had the tread come off the tire and tore up my RV. This purchase was to replace the tire minder that was on the tire that blew out.
I needed some replacement sensors and etrailer had the best deal.
Interesting timing. This is my second attempt. First my number one beef. The window mount has some sort of glue that melted and slid down my window. Making an awful mess. I have still to find a substance that will remove the residue and not strip the window tinting. Plus I broke the mount just trying to pry it free.
I purchased the unit with the repeater which I am glad I did. I tested it with and without. My 36’ trailer RV and my F150 truck were too long and path obstructed without the repeater. The unit works great. But Intuitive - NOT. Twice I’ve had wheels that simply dropped away. Both instances it was obviously not a flat as they went to zero immediately. But I was forced to pull over and check. I both times I had to reboot the unit before the tires came back online. Both times with new batteries. Strangely, not the same tire, but both front axel?
Overall, it’s as good as it gets for my price range. But plenty of room for improvement.
I purchased these to add to my TireMinder system. They look like thr ones that I have and should be a good fit.
The package arrived in good condition. The installation took around 45 minutes to complete. That included reading the book, charging the unit, and adding air to the tires. The instructions are well written and are complete.
Works great and gives you peace of mind, knowing that you tires are all good!
I bought the I10-10. The setup was intimidating but after one or 2 it got easy. I’m running the control/monitor panel by itself today to see if I will need to keep it powered up. One reviewer mentioned why have anther wire running on the dashboard. After losing a tire and wheel on my toad I figured it was time to get one
Thank you for your prompt service, as a lways!
The Tireminder system works pretty good. I purchased these Tireminder sensors from etrailer because my originally purchased Tireminder system contained only 6 sensors, and I needed 8 sensors for my tow application. The reason I don't rate the system "excellent" is because since using the Tireminder system, I have gotten a couple of false warnings on different tires (all were for tow vehicle tires, none were for trailer tires), warning that the tire air pressure was about 50% below normal, which turned out to be false. In each case, the sensor batteries were fresh, and the signal booster was operating (mounted beneath and at the rear of the tow vehicle). Note that this is a "system" review because I don't know which component caused the false warnings. Other than the above, I am very happy with the Tireminder system.
Although I have not mounted on car hauler yet (to cold out for this old man) I do have tireminder on my A class Rv and it works great. Also delivery was really fast,
Ordering was easy. Product was recieved quickly. Only problem shipping address needed my P.O. box number also. I had a tracking number so I knew when it arrived at my post office so I avoided it being sent back by asking for it
Tireminder is an excellent tpms system with top notch customer service. I recommend this product highly. If you need customer service for a broken or defective item call minder research directly.
Purchased the TireMinder A1A with 6 sensors for the trailer earlier this year. Since my 2018 1 ton Silverado did not come with a TMPS I purchased these to make a set of 4 while traveling.
Set up was not too painful. 2 Day road trip so far with them and everything is working as expected. We tow a small car so very nice to know about the tires on the car as we are going down the road. Like that the system is movable to another vehicle for future use.
Extra 2 sensors purchased to complete set of four trailer tires and four tow vehicle tires.
I can’t provide a product review at this point because I just received these items. However the reviews for the tireminder system are excellent and that’s what I expect. In any event, E trailer is great to work with. Prompt service. Great selection of products
Stopped using. Continued false alarms. Big waste of time.
Doing business with etrailer.com has been stress and problem free. Products received have always been as ordered and without issue. Satisfied customer here!!
Order and delivery process were great. Thanks
I believe this is a good product from reviews I have seen, I have owned system for a year but not long after I purchased it my Motorhome was totaled in an accident and I recently purchased a new one now that Insurance settled claim so I hope to install it on my new Coach and TOAD
Good price fast delivery but haven’t installed yet to see how they work. The original purchase from [outdoor sporting goods store] only lasted 14 months. One out 4 works.
Called etrailer for a TMS for my RV. It was a smooth and fast purchase and delivery. Great prices!
