TruXport installs with rails along the top of your truck bed walls, held in place by clamps - three per side. A front and rear header hold the cover assembly in place; Velcro strips along the rails secure the cover; and weather seals on all four sides help to keep dust, rain and snow out of your truck bed.
The TruXport features a dual-latching mechanism that secures the tonneau cover at your tailgate. This mechanism includes a built-in tension control that automatically sets the tension of your tonneau cover when the rear header is snapped into place. This ensures that you never need to manually adjust the tension of the cover. The latches can be released one at a time, so you don't need a partner - or a giant wing span - to open the cover.
A pair of security straps holds the tonneau in place behind the cab when it is rolled up, allowing full access to the truck bed. The rear header and crossmembers roll up with the cover to form a compact roll. The cover unrolls and latches in seconds, forming a secure rear cargo area when used in conjunction with a locked tailgate. TruXport cannot be released unless the tailgate is opened first.
The TruXport offers a smooth appearance on your truck bed with no arched bows. The tonneau cover rails sit only 1-1/2" above your truck's bed rails.

The quality of the cover and materials is excellent. The installation took longer than it probably should have, but I had some trouble understanding portions of the instructions. There is a video on YouTube made by Etrailer which was extremely helpful compared to some other video instructions. So far I am impressed with both the Truxedo Truxsport and purchasing from Etrailer.

The shipping was fast and accurate. The installation was easy following the directions provided and a year later the top is still in great shape and easy for my wife to operate!
Great Product!
I needed a way to travel in my F150 without my belongings getting wet or stolen. I also do antique and flea market shows, so having a cover for my truck bed was essential. I looked on YouTube and found this cover, and the video shows how simple it is to install, and boy was it easy!
I'm a 59 year old woman and I did it by myself in about an hour!
I love how it makes my truck look too.

This is a great cover. I had the older version of this cover on my last pickup and it worked great, but they've improved the latches on the newer version so they're much easier to open and close. I install the cover using the clamps provided but once I have everything aligned I bolt the rails down and eliminate the clamps as they have a tendency to shift or get broken if you're loading and unloading cargo from the bed.
Water tight, easy to use, good looks. And great price. Much better than cover I had before that cost almost a $1000, leaked and fell apart after 4 years.
Dave S - 02/09/2021After the Tonneau cover arrived, I watched the installation video, and had it up in half an hour. Kept the video queued up on my phone and went step by step. Left the next day on a 1000 mile trip and had no issues with the cover at all.
Clamps dont fit well at all on the bed of a 2011 f150. Also instructions are not clear for installation
I have been very satisfied with the product. It is holding up very well and still looks new.
Easy install. Had to "modify" the liner but it looks great.

I ordered a Truxedo Truxport Tonneau cover for my ram 3500. It arrived with a broken hook that holds the cover open when rolled up. I called Trailer customer service and they could not have been any more helpful or understanding. A free replacement arrived in short order. THANK YOU Etrailer

The installation on my 1998 Dodge pickup with 8' bed was easy and the fit perfect. I bought this mostly to keep the snow out. It keeps all moisture out. I did use a piece of foam weather stripping along the front edge to provide a seal. I live where the summer temperatures can be over 100 and winter below zero. It can also be very windy. After one year the cover is in perfect shape.

Although my truck is garaged, this is a quality Tonneau Cover. It was easy to install and it keeps my truck looking neat and clean and provides better gas mileage. When you want it out of the way, simply pull the release latches after letting down the tail gate and lift it to release the velcro and proceed to roll it up behind the cab where it has 2 hooks and a rubber strap to secure it. I love it!

Because I have a fifth wheel pin in my pickup, a roll up cover works well for that! The cover is easy to use and keeps everything in my truck bed dry and out of sight.
It also protects the 5th wheel pic system hitch.

Perfect fit and easy installation except no mention of the tie down straps mounting. I did have to add 1/2 inch weather strip on the front of my truck bed do to the bed rail caps. Looks great

After a year's use, I am quite satisfied with it. It is more weatherproof than I expected -- admits just a few drops of water at the tailgate in a torrential rain or an automatic car wash, acceptable in my opinion. It is easy to roll up and stow at the header of the bed, can be done from the ground but it does work best to maintain an even roll if you get into the bed and follow it to the front as you roll it. I would buy it again.

We actually purchased this tonneau cover out of desperation, and because it was fairly inexpensive. Got a new truck, have a lot of long trips planned pulling a trailer. Need to cover our truck's bed. Want to get an ERA or Leer topper, but the wait for those is 3 or 4 months. We couldn't wait, so the TruXedo cover was a temporary solution.
Having said that, I am pleasantly surprised how nice this cover is. I'm enjoying using it. Installation was easy, the cover fits tightly, and the velcro sides work well. I recommend this product.

Reviewed a lot of different tonneau covers for my 2004 Chevy 2500 HD (Diesel), but kept coming back to this one, mostly for the ease of installation and functionality. I watched the attached installation video by Etrailer, which helped familiarize the process. I was able to install the cover in about 30 minutes, most of the time spent aligning the rails the way I wanted. Took it for a test drive right after, and loved how it looked and performed, very little bounce or flapping, very tight across the bed. Had a significant rain shower pass through while I was driving, so I was able to see how well it did with water leakage. Only had a few drops inside, mostly because the water splashed up from the road, where an old 5th wheel bracket used to be (holes in the bed), but not along the edges or front of the bed, those were dry. Great product, would recommend this to anyone needing a rolled up tonneau.

This product did not fit my truck as specified. The *manufacturer* was contacted directly, but would not admit there was an issue. **It must be noted that etrailer, however stood behind the sale and their customer's satisfaction, and accepted the return of the tonneau cover and provided a refund. Thanks etrailer! Thats the reason I keep doing business with rhem.

I was looking for a roll up cover for my truck to have the flexibility of security and be able to haul something large if needed. I did a lot of research and was impressed with the TruXport cover because of the ease of installation and the price.
I was also pleased with the level of service. There were follow up emails from etrailer letting me know the product shipped, the estimated delivery date and reference numbers if I had questions. When the cover arrived I installed it in about 40 minutes including unpacking and checking all of the parts. So far I like the way the cover looks and am very happy with the purchase.

Love it. Very satisfied with the cover. Wanting my Son to get one for his truck. Had a Dodge Ram with a hard cover. Couldn't haul much. This cover is so easy to roll back when needed. Great Product. I live in farm country. Besides washing, trying to find best way to keep the finish shinning.
