Quickly and easily stabilize your unhitched fifth-wheel trailer with this rustproof, lightweight aluminum tripod. Adjustable hitch cup makes setup a snap, and the included padlock provides an effective theft deterrent.

After unhitching your fifth-wheel trailer or RV, steady it with the Ultra-Fab tripod stabilizer. Simply position the tripod beneath your trailer's king pin and release the chain that holds the stabilizer hitch cup in place. The hitch cup will rise and surround the king pin. Reattach the chain by hooking a bottom link around the bracket on the tripod leg. Now use the handle on the hitch cup to fine-tune the height of the stabilizer. Turn counterclockwise until the cup is sufficiently snug against the fifth-wheel king pin. Once everything is in place, insert the included padlock and your trailer will be stable, supported and secure.

The product works fine but a greater range of height adjustment , especially on the lower range, would be helpful. I had occasions where I couldn't lower the tripod enough to level the camper properly.

The tripod appears to be built well for aluminum, easy to assemble and install under kingpin . After installing I entered TV and could not sway RV from overhang bedroom.

Don't believe this tri-pod has had any real affect in stabilizing our unit. Tried several different approaches but the left to right wobble still continues. As Ive learned 4 corner Lippert Self Leveling Jacks tend to do this. Don't regret the purchase. Wish we had better results.

Hello, due to the nature of the unit and how it attaches it will not stabilize side to side motion. It will only help front to back.

I’m a little disappointed. The order was correct but the packaging looked like it was thrown from a 5 story building and it was missing a part. With as beat up as the box was, I’m surprised there were any parts in it at all. Hopefully they’ll make it right.

I would have given this five stars except that it was delivered with two of the legs missing. The poor condition of the package leads me to believe it was previously sold to someone else and then returned and without the legs. The package was then sent out to me without being inspected.
Once I got through to etrailer (which was a very long wait until my call was actually answered, the young lady who took my call was very responsive in getting out the missing legs to me.
Maybe in the future they could inspect returned packages to make sure they are complete before sending it out to another buyer.

I am sorry to hear that jack arrived missing the legs. I know that our shipping department does their best to inspect all packages before they are shipped. With the package arriving in poor condition it is possible that the legs were lost in shipment. I do see that we have had the legs shipped out to you.

I chose the product to use with an Andersen Ultimate kingpin adapter and found that the depth of the adapter is slightly more than expected. This causes the stabilizer ball mechanism to rub against the bottom. Despite the mismatch for the desired usage, the stabilizer is well constructed and easy to use. I plant to adapt it to better fit my selected hitch.
