After a year of usage I've been very happy with the hitch pin and the single key for the Weigh Safe lock.
My old locking hitch pin was showing some wear after 12 years of use, so I ordered the WS06 because I wanted to have both parts of the hitch keyed alike instead of having two different keys. I emailed etrailer because the description didn't specify that it fit my hitch, but Kaylyn R. responded in 30 minutes, at 7:30 PM in the evening, that it would fit perfectly on my Weigh Safe WS10-2 10" drop hitch. I placed the order and received it in 3 days. It fits and functions perfectly. This is only my second order with etrailer, and I won't go anywhere else for towing components. The customer service is second to none.

This is my second purchase of the Weigh Safe hitch. I had to buy a smaller one because I traded trucks and the 3" shaft was too large for the new truck's receiver. The first one I had was used around 3 years and I was 100% satisfied with it so it was an easy decision for this purchase.
Purchased this for my 2016 Yukon Xl Denali. I've got a 2.25"front/1" rear level so that made a high receiver even higher. Costly? Yes. But this thing gives me the option to tow pretty much anything (within the respective weight limits) that I want. The box that it comes in fits perfectly in the compartment under the floor in the storage area, so it's always on the ready. This is exactly what I wanted.
Nice polish on the stainless. Stays clean and wipes down easily after miles of road grime.

Awesome Hitch. Would recommend to anyone. It works just like it says it should and on top of that it looks great with the aluminum and stainless.
The locks have smooth action and I like not having to worry about loosing the little cotter pins that come with the original hitch pins.

Ray - 04/26/2020This Weigh Safe TB4-2 ball mount has worked flawlessly. I pull two different trailers and each one requires a different ball height. Problem is solved with this hitch. Just pull the pin and adjust the ball height to the desired position. I also purchased the locking keyed-alike hitch pin and ball pin. This is convenient in only requiring one key.

Being an Engineering Project manager/Mechanical designer/ and Machinist my standards are high :-).
Poor Job of de-burring after the machining of key tumbler assembly receptor hole on 180 Ball Mount.
The lock assembly would not seat fully until burr was de-burred/chamfered and cleaned up on the 180 Ball Mount mating hole to the dual pin lock.
So far with limited use .. this is why I give 4 stars instead of 5.

Ball, hitch, and locking pin fit perfectly on my 2016 Ram 1500. The machining is superb. The design offers many options for different trailer hitch heights. I like how it can be installed with the ball under the receiver when not in use... out of the way, but secure. I opted for the keyed-alike pins which conveniently eliminates having to keep track of multiple keys. Very satisfied.
Sure is nice to have both locks keyed the same not to mention the quality workmanship put into the hitch and locking mechanisms.++++++A

Easily one of the prettiest ball mounts I've ever had. This kit included a locking dual pin, which made the purchase of the separate locking dual pin an unnecessary expense, so I guess I now have a spare, but otherwise everything was as advertised.
I was hoping that I could flip the ball mount and reverse it under the receiver, and I can, but only in the lowest set of holes. The low profile socket head fastener that goes into the piston assembly for the gauge contacts the reinforcing ring on the receiver hitch just before the 5/8" pin can be installed...I may relieve the reinforcing ring slightly (less than 1/32") to gain the 1" of ground clearance in this configuration when not towing.
This design is exceptional and having both the Weigh Safe system keyed alike to the hitch pin means not having to search for the right key! But you should know that the Weigh Safe hitch system already comes with a locking hitch for the ball height adjustment that is keyed different from the WS06 keyed alike, meaning the original lock is no longer needed, but I'll keep it as a backup.
I am giving this product a 4 star right now only because I haven't hooked up to it yet. Loving the look and the design so far. I did upgrade to the locking pin set and am happy that it is a 1 key for both design. Easy operations to change the sizing around.
B.Rad - 03/07/2019I have been using this lock set for about 1 year. Although I do not leave the the hitch on my truck full time, I do leave it in for days or weeks at a time. I no longer worry about the hitch being stolen when I forget to take it out. The locks are secure and work as expected. I would recommend removing both lock assemblies periodically and cleaning and lubricating them to keep them working smoothly.
