Colin: Hey guys, Colin here with etrailer. Today I'm just going to take some time and show you guys, this is a replacement part for your etrailer lock. This is just a dust cap cover.It's pretty important to make sure you have one of these on there to help keep out all that crud and debris out of your lock cylinder. And so if you happen to misplace your dust cap cover or maybe it just breaks off of your lock, you can be able to just pick one of these up and throw it on there. It will work for any of the hitch locks that you might have, or any of the coupler latch locks, or maybe even your spare tire lock if you happen to lose that.It's a direct replacement, so it's just going to go right over your lock right there. And again, you can see that without a dust cap cover on there, it leaves it wide open to any of that road salt or any other grime and debris getting in there.
So putting that cap on is just going to help make sure that doesn't happen. Again, this is just a really good idea to go ahead and get this replaced so you can extend the life of your lock and not have to worry about getting a new one..

I thought they was universal. Oh well not worth sending back. Not your fought. I will have to calm where I purchased the locking pins. Regards
Purchased for spares for etrailer e98881 receiver locks. Appear to be good quality and reasonably priced.
Used this on some Anderson pins. It's barely too big but will still get the job done great. Would recommend.
