How to Pick Out an Extended Ball Mount for a 2000 Ford Expedition

i need an extended ball mount for my truck. i have a 2000 expedition with a factory tow package and i bought a trailer that has a very short frame that connects to my car. trailer weighs about 2800 ibs. what should i use,

Without knowing how long of a ball mount you need, or the amount of rise/drop you would need for your trailer to be towed level it would be very hard for me to give you the exact recommendation you would need.

What I would recommend you do is first check out the FAQ article I attached that details how to pick out the correct rise/drop ball mount, and then check out the link I attached that has all of the ball mounts we carry. Select your rise/drop needed from the filters and then scroll down to the shank length filter to see what lengths are available.
