Trimming the fascia on a 2010 Jeep Compass, is only required on the Rallye Edition model. This does include the Draw-Tite # 75712. If you do not have the Rallye Edition, you will not have to do any trimming to install any of the available hitches. I have included a link to the instructions for Draw-Tite 75712 which has an illustration in the upper left corner that shows why the fascia must be trimmed on the Rallye Edition only.
I am including a link to a video of the Draw-Tite hitch being installed on a 2010 Jeep Compass.
