The trailer hitch you referenced, the Draw-Tite # 75728, is a fit the Ford Edge Sport.

If you have the non-Sport version then we have other hitch fits for your car. The link at right will show you all hitch options for the non-Sport version and these include both 1-1/4-inch Class II and 2-inch Class III types. The linked article will give you details about hitch types.

I recommend a 2-inch Class III hitch, Curt # C13067, since this unit costs less than other options and since it offers a higher 400-lb tongue weight capacity. Also, 2-inch hitches will give you better compatibility with a broad range of hitch-mount accessories like bike and cargo carriers.

Hitch installation requires only one specialized tool, apart from basic hand tools, and that is a torque wrench. This is required to ensure the included fasteners are tightened to the correct degree as per the linked instructions. I have also linked two helpful articles concerning hitch installation tips. To make your install as easy as possible I have also linked a video showing this hitch being installed on your same model year Edge.

If you will use a bike or cargo carrier in the hitch you will need to use Curt's stabilizing strap, part # 18050, to help support the hitch. This strap takes some of the downward stresses off the hitch and its attachment points on the Edge.

If you plan to tow you will also need a wiring harness # C56120 to operate your trailer lights. A video for this item is provided too. You might also consider the handy etrailer ball mount kit, part # 989900, which includes two sizes of hitch balls and ball mounts, as well as a pin and clip.
