Self Adjusting Brake Assemblies to Replace TruRyde # TRBK10E02 and # TRBK10E01

Purchased TruRyde Electric Brake Assembly - 10inch brake assy for use on a tow dolly. Having trouble adjusting and maintaining adjustment. Is there anyway that these brakes could be converted to self adjusting? When I used the dolly, I had trouble with brake lockup and excelerated tire wear.

In order to replace your current TruRyde brake assemblies with a self adjusting system you could go with the Nev-R-Adjust Brake Assemblies, # 23-468 for Left Hand and # 23-469 for Right Hand.

There isn't an option for converting the TruRyde brake assemblies.

Since you mention that you are having trouble maintaining the adjustment of your current brake assemblies, it sounds like there could be an issue with one of the components such as the adjuster or adjuster spring. I recommend removing your hub and make a quick inspection to see if there is a problem. Keep in mind that it is recommended to adjust the brakes again after the first 200 miles and every 3,000 miles after that.
