i had a curt trailer hitch on my 2005 scion xb then i traded it in for a 2008 scion xb will my old hitch fit on my 2008 thank you

The hitches that are built to fit a 2005 Scion xB will not fit a 2008 Scion xB. The 2007 xB brought a new body that included some frame changes which is why the hitches for the 2004-2006 models will not fit the newer models.
For your 2008 Scion xB you can use one of three hitches: Curt part # 12490 or Draw-Tite part # 24815. I have added links to these hitches below as well as to a video of the Curt hitch being installed on a 2008 xB and the instructions for the Draw-Tite part.
