Do the Cradles on the SportRack Trunk Bike Carrier Move While in Transport

Question:

Hi, I just wanted to clarify what you mentioned in the video that the 3 bicycle cradles are movable. Is there a screw within the cradles to help tighten each once they are properly set in position. Or are they just held by the inner rubber? I asked because I was wondering if during transport there is a danger that these cradles will slide back and forth or slide down towards the trunk thereby destroying your bike and car trunk. I believe some bike racks have there Cradles set already in specific positions already.

I viewed the video (1:08 mark) about the SportRack 3 bike carrier # SR3152 that you referenced, and the cradles are actually pretty secure and will take a little force to move them around to the desired position.

So you won't need to worry about the cradles sliding while you are driving down the road.

This bike rack can carry 3 bikes and the weight capacity is 105 pounds.

If you will be transporting any woman's, child's or alternative frame bikes, an adapter like # SR0500 will be a great addition because it provides a horizontal mounting point.

I included a couple video reviews and helpful articles for you too.
