Recommended Parts To Flat-Tow 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer
Question:
Do these fit a 2007 Trailblazer

Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, part # 3109-1 work on all 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazers except the SS model. With the removable drawbars, the base plates become nearly invisible when not towing.
There are 5 things needed when flat-towing a vehicle. You will need the base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, lighting for the towed vehicle and most states now require a supplemental brake system.
The tow bar I recommend is the Roadmaster Tracker, part # RM-020. These are foldable so they can be easily stored.
I recommend the Roadmaster coiled safety cables, part # RM-643. These are vinyl-coated which helps protect the paint on the tow bar from chipping and scratches.
For lighting on your Trailblazer I recommend the Roadmaster Tow Bar Wiring, part # RM-155. This system bypasses the wiring on the Trailblazer and included all the necessary wiring and instructions needed.
For a supplemental brake system I recommend the Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Proportional Braking System, part # RM-9400. This is a proportional system that applies the brakes on your Trailblazer in direct proportion to the brake action on your towing vehicle. This is an easy installation and included a wireless monitoring system.
