Transmission Cooler and Engine Cooler Recommendation for a 2009 Nissan Frontier

I plan on getting this for my 09 frontier. Do I also need the fluid control thermostat kit? or does the thermostatic sandwich adaptor included with the cooler accomplish the same task? Also will I be connecting to the power steering cooler like in the video to cool my engine oil? Im not a car expert. Is that the same thing- power steering and engine oil? If I am connecting to the power steering cooler do you happen to know the size of the fittings? will I need the the different barb adaptors? Also, this truck already has an auxiliary tranny cooler. Does it matter if I connect the derale upstream or downstream of this cooler? Thank you,

The part # D15902 that you referenced is designed to cool the transmission fluid and the engine oil of a vehicle it is installed on. It comes with a thermostatic controlled sandwich adapter so that it will allow your vehicle to reach operating temperature.

This kit would not tie into your power steering pump or fluid at all as that is a separate system.

You will want to connect the transmission cooler downstream of your factory cooler. This will provide you with the best possible cooling potential. All of the needed fittings are included.
