Question:
Looking at your Convert-A-Ball Gooseneck and Fifth Wheel Adapters CAB-C5GX1216. I have a recessed hitch that has a trap door. I need to know what the actual adjusting distance is on the platform. I need to be able to have it clear my trap door.

You can adjust the platform on the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter with Offset, part # CAB-C5GX1216 another 2 inches, which will take the distance from 12 to 14 inches. All you have to do is loosen up the set screws and then you can adjust that as needed as long as the red line is not showing.
