Loud Exhaust After Installing Magnaflow Single Inlet/Dual Outlet Exhuast

Question:

I put a magnaflow muffler si/do went from 3inch in to 2.5inch dual out Inside the cab is ridiculous. Not sure what to do to quiet the noise down or if I should just go back to what I had but keep the dual pipes for looks. Any ideas would be greatly apprciated! Thank you,

Since I do not know your vehicle nor the particular MagnaFlow exhaust kit you installed I suggest you first verify that all pipe connections are secure and without gaps that could be causing the high sound level in the passenger compartment. If you installed a kit with new straight-through mufflers, rather than chambered mufflers, there will be some additional noise level from that change. A shop should be able to quickly tell you if there is anything wrong with the installation or if it is just the nature of the new exhausts.
