Can the Air Filter for a 2008 Ford F-350 Super Duty 6.4 Liter Turbo Collapse into the Turbo

Question:

I drive a 2008 F 350 Superduty, 6.4 motor. Question is, running a high tune is it possible to collapse the OEM air filter, and pull it into the turbo? Either way, will the AFE air filter never fail? Thanks for your time.

The air filter # AR861-348 was designed to work with stock intake system. Regarding the air filter never failing, unfortunately I could not guarantee that but it does have a lifetime warranty.

It's highly unlikely an air filter would collapse and get pulled into the turbo. Also, we haven't had any customers report anything of that nature either.
