Troubleshooting an Electric Jack that Won't Work Unless It is The Only Circuit Drawing Power

the jack works good up and down with the toggle switch but once you stop with the toggle switch I have to release the brake on the Electric hitch and then back again or for the jack to start working again please advise

Without knowing exactly what your electric hitch is I am pretty sure the problem you are experiencing is due to the circuit being overdrawn. It sounds like when you power both the electric hitch and your electric jack the power circuit is being asked to draw more than it is capable of and the jack is not able to function until you reduce the draw on the circuit.

Otherwise you can check to make sure the jack is grounding properly.
