Will a P3 Brake Controller Use Same Wiring as Dexter Predator DX2 on a 2011 VW Touareg
Question:
My 2011 VW Touareg has a Predator DX2 brake controller fitted. However we want to replace it with a Prodigy P3. Will it fit the same wiring and is it just a matter of connecting the new wiring under the dash? We tow a dual axle trailer which has electric over hydraulic brakes.

The wire functions are going to be the same between the Dexter Predator, # 58-8, and the P3, # 90195. The white wire is ground, black is 12 volt power, red is input from stop light circuit, and blue is output to the trailer brakes.
If you already have wiring connected to your 2011 VW Touareg for the Predator brake controller then you could just cut off the wires and splice them to the matching wires on the P3.
If you do not have a controller installed on the vehicle then there are some special requirements for a Touareg. I have included a link to a help article that explains the installation.
