Recommended Trailer Hitch and 2-Bike Platform Bike Rack for 2015 Kia Soul

I will be happy to help get your 2015 Kia Soul set up with a trailer hitch and bike rack. First for a trailer hitch the most popular option is Draw-Tite hitch # 24915. This hitch, and all hitches for your Soul, is a Class I trailer hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver.

There are 2 things to remember when looking at accessories for a Class I hitch. First, make sure the accessory, in this case a bike rack, is rated for use with a Class I hitch. And second, with bikes you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.

For a compatible bike rack I recommend something light weight, which can be hard to find in a platform style. But Saris has some options that fit the bill. I like the Freedom, # SA4412B. This platform rack is Class I compatible and it weighs just 22-1/2 pounds. I have linked a video review for you.

If you do not mind the extra weight the Swagman XTC # S64670 is a very popular rack. It has the basic platform design with frame hooks and wheel hoop cradles. It weighs about 30 pounds so not too heavy. I have linked a video review of this rack as well.
