Question:
I have a 2014 Dodge Ram, Quad Cab with a 5.7 and 8 speed trans, and 321 ratio. I am interested in a Fifth Wheel Camper the UVW is 7200 pounds with a hitch weight of 1250. Can I tow this. The Camper dealer says yes, thanks

From the research I did it looks like the 2014 Ram 1500 has a towing capacity range of 4,500 lbs all the way up to 8,500 lbs. You will want to check your vehicle owners manual to determine exactly what your capacity is. I would imagine yours is on the higher end of 8,500 lbs based on the options you listed.
For a fifth wheel install kit you would want a custom install kit like the part # RP50142-58 that would install in about half the time as a universal kit and would minimize drilling.
If you have an 8 foot bed you could use a stationary hitch like the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30047. But if you have a short bed truck you would need a slider hitch like the part # RP30075 so that you could make sharp turns without cab interference.
