Can Front Receiver be Installed on 2003 Chevy Suburban with Push Bar Already Installed

I have an 03 Suburban with a GoRhino step up push bar installed along with factory tow hooks. I need to add a front receiver hitch so I can add my Allen 5 bike carrier to the front while towing my KZ Coyote 23 Hybrid. Can you tell me which hitch can be installed that will allow me to keep my push bar and tow hooks?

The factory tow hooks will not be a problem but the push bar will likely interfere with installation of a front mount receiver on your 2003 Chevy Suburban. What you would need to do is take a look at the instructions I have linked for a couple of front mount receivers: # 65023 for a 1500 and # 65028 for a 2500. Then you can compare that to the position and installation location of your push bar to determine if there will be interference issues.

Another option is to use multi-purpose ball mount # D210. This will allow you to tow a travel trailer and carry a bike rack in the upper receiver. The total tongue weight capacity of this ball mount is 750 pounds. The receiver portion is rated at 350 pounds tongue weight. Basically the combined weight of the loaded bike rack and the tongue weight of the trailer cannot exceed 750 pounds.

And a third option is to install a hitch at the back of the trailer, such as # 13703, and then use an RV/Trailer approved bike carrier, see link, with stabilization strap # 18050.
