Question:
Good afternoon, If I add your trailer hitch to my 2013 Honda Odyssey should I/must I also add additional engine cooling and transmission oil cooling. If yes, do you sell those components and at what cost. What about the electrical harness for trailer lights and possibly electric trailer brakes. I will be towing a 900lb. trailer loaded with a 1,000lb. motorcycle. The trailer tongue weight will be 250+/- pounds. Thanks for your help

Since you plan to add the Curt Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C13068, to your 2013 Honda Odyssey for the purpose of towing, the owner's manual states you must carefully observe the load limits (I have attached a snapshot of the manual) and use the proper equipment, an ATF (automatic transmission fluid) cooler. I have attached an article for you that is loaded with information on transmission coolers as well as a link to those available for your Odyssey. I personally recommend taking a look at the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, # D13503. This cooler is one of our top sellers and we even have a video of us installing it on a customer's 2013 Odyssey.
Now for the trailer lighting. For a 4-way to power the trailer lighting you can use the wiring harness, # 118521. In order to install a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, # 90195, for electric trailer brakes, you will also need the Universal Installation Kit, # ETBC7.
I have included a few installation videos for you.
