Why Are Traditional Gooseneck Coupler Locks Not Recommended with Goosebox

I have the dually and the Montana, so Im ready to get your RP94622-61301. I do not have a clue regarding your Note: Traditional gooseneck coupler locks will not work on the Goose Box. A wheel lock should be use

I spoke with my contact at Reese and he said the note you are referring to means that there is presently no compatible gooseneck coupler lock available for the Reese Goosebox, # RP94716-61301, therefore there is nothing to prevent someone from backing up his truck, assuming he has a gooseneck hitch, and driving off with your trailer.

That is why a wheel lock like The CLUB Tire Claw # WI491KA, is recommended. I have included a video review of the tire claw for you to check out.
