Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust for 2001 Pontiac Trans AM
Question:
I want to keep the oem exhaust in tact, as I may want to put it back on. Will the new cat back exhaust bolt up with no modifications. The car is a 2001 Trans am with WS6 package, it is the collector edition with ram air

Expert Reply:
The Cat Back Exhaust system will bolt up to the catalytic converter extension pipe with no modifications needed. However, in order to remove the existing exhaust, cutting the over the axle pipe just to the rear of the axle will be required (unless you feel brave enough to lower the rear axle).
The system uses clamps, no welding is required. For your convenience, I will include a link to the installation instructions. You can find the link below.
