Actually several of your pictures did make it through! What you have there is the standard/step bumper on your 1979 Chevy C-10. Deep drop bumpers, also called cowboy bumpers, drop way down.
If your truck has an 8 foot bed you can use Curt trailer hitch # C14082. If you have a 6 foot bed you would need hitch # 75034 and 6 of spacer block # 01077-011 to complete the installation.
If you go with the Curt hitch then I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK2416. It comes with a ball mount with a 3 inch rise/4 inch trop, a 2 inch ball, 2-5/16 inch ball, pin with clip, and storage bag.
If you go with the Draw-Tite hitch for a short bed model then I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It includes a ball mount with a 2-3/4 inch rise/4 inch drop, interchangeable ball set, pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kits do not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And if you need to add a trailer connector to the truck use # 118311. I have included some helpful links for you as well.
