Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2015 Nissan Murano
Question:
Is there a difference between hidden and exposed trailer hitches? Im looking for a trailer hitch for a 2015 Nissan Murano. The CURT hitch says exposed. What does that mean?

A hitch that is exposed will have the cross tube visible beneath the vehicle. this isn't so much an aesthetic choice as it is a design necessity. Not all vehicles have the space that would allow for the hitch to be concealed (except for the receiver).
All of the trailer hitches for the 2015 Nissan Murano # 75952 and # C13205, are going to be visible. But it is not like it is sticking out there for everyone to easily see. It is tucked back under the vehicle some. Take a look at the installation videos I have linked for you.
If you plan on doing some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And for trailer wiring you can use # 118660 to add a 4-Way flat trailer connector.
