How to Determine if the Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18100 Would Allow Rear Door to Open
Question:
Hello from Chicago. Can you let me know if this carrier will work with my 2004 Dodge Sprinter Westfalia camper? I will upload a picture of the door clearance. I will try to call in the morning, because I would need to order this quickly. Thanks so much for your help and great website.

Expert Reply:
You should have 5-1/2 inches of clearance between the top of the Cargo Carrier part # e98991 and the bottom of your rear cargo door. Looks like you have right at 8-1/4 inches from the top of your hitch opening to the bottom of your rear door.
This will not account for any cargo that you add to the carrier.
